Beatlemaniacs 4 months, 1 week agoWhat is everyone’s favorite Beatles song?
Oh wow. Too many to choose from… I would have to say Yesterday, Blackbird, Here Comes the Sun, or All you Need is Love. That’s at least one from every Beatle but Ringo. Let’s add Octopus’s Garden just to be fair.

When I was younger, my absolute favorite song was Yellow Submarine. I still really like that song.. but I have to say that now… it’s much harder to choose. I really like Come Together.. Revolution… and All My Loving.
It’s still too hard to choose.@Violet, they’re my favourite beatles songs too ^^ I also absolutely love don’t let me down and come together. They speak to me

I adore the medley that begins with ”You Never Give Me Your Money” and continues to the end of Abbey Road.
My favorite’s are probably ”I Will”, ”Blackbird”, and ”Across the Universe”. Oh, and ”Helter Skelter” just because it’s so unlike their other music.
If I had a gun to my head, the song I’d blurt out is “Octopus’s Garden”. My Beatles-conscious friends think I’m being ironic or something, but I honestly love that song to bits.
Also “Hey Bulldog” (the song that made me realize I really love these guys), “Sie Liebt Dich”, “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”, “Something”, “Sexy Sadie”,…[Read more]I can never pick just one. I usually have a rotating top 5. So right now the top five are: For No One, Something (anthology version), There’s a place, What Goes On, and Every Little Thing
dear prudence, girl, something, golden slumbers-carry that weight… and of course let it be. across the universe. all you need is love …oh yeah and fool on the hill. yes. i’m going to post this before i think of more.

Beatlemaniacs 4 months, 1 week agoI like when people say they don’t like the Beatles and then a Beatles song comes on and they are singing along with it, and most of the time saying how good of song it is…

Beatlemaniacs 4 months, 2 weeks agoMy dad was the one who got me into the Beatles. I didn’t even listen to popular music until I was eleven and left my little town to go to sleepaway camp, and was shocked to find that people thought the Beatles were old and boring, preferring more modern music.
Argh, that’s definitely a pet peeve of mine when it comes to bands from decades ago- Just because it’s ”old” chronologically, doesn’t mean it’s ”old” to the listener.
And The Beatles played so many different styles throughout the years, there’s got to be something for everybody.
I completely agree with you. I’ve tried to explain that before, but of course eleven year olds are really bad listeners
Their styles change so much it’s incredible, but that’s why they never get old. There are always new layers to uncover. My favorite phase they went through had to be the psychedelic “Revolver” era. All the layers of…[Read more]
