There’s usually some kind of meetup in the programming for people by themselves so I’d recommend going to that to meet people. Also, you’re going to meet people just by being there – everyone is so nice, queues are always an easy time to meet people are there’s probably going to be queues on the first day.

We created a private group for TFiOS so that you would have to join the group to see spoilers. It seems to be working well, although I think the discussion isn’t as rich because there aren’t as many people involved. Perhaps we can do the same thing for the rest of the books we read.
