60. If Ron snuck into Hermione’s room to watch her sleep, she’d hex him into next week. If Harry snuck into Ginny’s room to watch her sleep, she’d would hex him into next YEAR!

61. Even the minor villians in HP are scarier than the worst villians in Twilight. I mean, Barty Crouch Jr, come on!

62. Jacob may have muscles but Lupin is a proper warewolf and if caught on a full moon, Jacob wouldn’t stand a chance.

63. SMayer is incapable of writing people falling in love; so she made up “imprinting” to save herself the trouble.

64. Twilight fans who say Harry Potter “sucks” because there is no love story: I give you, Ron and Hermione. Snape and Lilly. Harry and Ginny. Lupin and Tonks. Hell, even Merope and Tom had a better story than Edward and Bella!

65. JKR broke our hearts when she killed Sirius, brought us to tears when Fred died, but it all had to be done. Stephanie Mayer can’t even write a proper fight, let alone kill off characters.

66. The characters in Harry Potter were well written and still relateable. Stephanie Mayer had to make a character with no personality in order to have people relate to her. And still managed to fail at that.

67. Harry Potter will be something that will be read for generations. Twilight will fade out as soon as the last film is released.

68. Twilight is superficial. It is all about how beautiful the vampires are, how muscular (and naked) the warewolves are and all the cars and money the Cullens have. How ashamed would we be of ourselves if we judged the Weasleys because they don’t have money? What are we? Malfoys?!

69. Bella is a terrible human being to look up to. She is selfish and superficial and incapable of surviving on her own. HP heroines on the other hand, are great role models. For example:
Ginny Weasley: When Harry doesn’t notice her in the begining, she moves on with her life. She grows up to be smart and funny, a great quidditch player and dates a few boys and still remains Harry’s friend and helps him with the D.A.
Hermione Granger: She believed she was a very plain looking girl and yet she managed to get the attention of someone like Viktor Krum not because she clung to him like a parasite but because she was smart, kind and confident in the fact that she did NOT need a boyfriend to survive.

70. The characters in HP are believable people. They have flaws and problems but we came to love them anyway because the people we know and love in our own lives are not perfect. My favourite example is Ron; who is not “cold and hard like granite” nor has “liquid topaz eyes” but is moody and childish and stubborn and completely loving and selfless all at the same time and how can you not love Ronald?

I know, this was alot but I’m so sick of this Twilight rubbish, I made an account specifically to write this. Cheers!

72. When you’ve written a good book, your readers will have some empathy with the characters. Reading HP, I’d tear up when there were deaths, I’d laugh with Fred and George, and I’d always learn something important. It felt real for me. While reading Twilight, there was no empathic connection. The only things I felt were intense hated towards most (if not all) of SMeyer’s characters.

73. Harry Potter has a unique soundtrack. Though the soundtrack for Twilight is probably the best thing about the movies, the music wasn’t created for it. I would say stolen from original artists, but than the artists probably gave their permission.

74. The possibilities. It isn’t completely defined what becomes of the main characters nor is it completely defined where all of them came from. You can imagine hundreds of different paths that the characters could take without having to majorly change the characters or storyline. In twilight you know that Bella and Edward will be vampires forever and Jacob will lead a boring and unfufilling life doting on the hybrid child.

75. You could imagine yourself as part of story. There are so many children would that go to Hogwarts, would’ve went to Hogwarts and would’ve been still to go to Hogwarts. It would be exciting, and if Hogwarts was real, entirely possible to go to the school at the same time as Harry and not be noticed.

76.You want to be a part of the story. Whoever says they wouldn’t want the opportunity to learn magic is probably lying, however, going to some tiny school in a tiny town and occasionally seeing a plain girl would be boring.

77. HP fans have made the book real to them and have created a community of HP fans (i.e. LeakyCon, Harry Potter World, etc.)

78. Harry actually had difficulties in his life and he cared about people around him. Bella had a doting mother and father who she put through hell because her boyfriend dumped her.

81. Simply compare the werewolves. Lupin changes into a complete monster on the full moon, falls in love with an amazingly awesome Metamorphagus woman (who also happens to be one of my favorite characters), and dies alongside her fighting for a cause he believed in. Jacob can turn into a wolf when he wants to, falls in love first with a boring clingy girl and then with a baby, and… well, he fell in love with a baby. What else is there to say? One obviously has has much more care put into his character development.

85. Alan Rickman.
86. Even though the story is over, the magic lives on afterwards. After Twilight all you have is the memory of reading another teen romance novel.
87. PLOT DEVELOPMENT.
88. We actually see that there is a dark side to human life, and that love doesn’t have to be an obsession. In Harry Potter we learn that love and friendship is the true way to make it through life. For example, the Weasleys. In Twilight, on the other hand, we learn that material items — the Volvo, the “great honeymoon,” etc. The novelties — are the most important things in life.
89. Family time. Think about how awkward it would be to read Breaking Dawn with your family? I mean, you read the sex scene then go into your post-chapter discussion. “Mommy, what’s that mean?”

90. Harry Potter had a climatic ending. Whereas, in Twilight, the whole forth book built up to this big fight at the end, but when the Volturi arrived, they were all “ahh…. everything’s alright. We cool.”

91. HP characters are unique and have their little quirks (e.g., Tonks and her hair styles; Voldemort’s…awesomeness, lack of nose, epicness, etc; Snape and his attempts to hide his softness :) ; or even every ingle one of the paintings in Hogwarts!) instead of being the boring and so-called “perfect boy” or the “hot guy” and simply looking like all the other vampires (pale) or all the other werewolves (furry and muscular)…
