| Awful | This thread was in Your Pants before it went down. Consider this a revival. Just write a 50 word story. No more, no less. I will post one of my old ones from the previous thread to start. ************************************************ “They’ll come back, you know!” I knew. “Then you’ll get it!” What was wrong with me? I was putting the entire town in danger. How selfish. “Raise the gate. I’ll wait outside.” There was no escape. In earnest, I could have ran, but I convinced myself otherwise. I was responsible. ************************************************ My story seems more like a snippet than a full story, but I’m just trying to get things started here. Hopefully I’ll do better next time. I await your stories! |

| Emily | This was freaking hard. But anyway so: He smells like soap and sunscreen and soul-mates. Everything about him is effortless. |

| Jonathan | Quite difficult task but I’ve managed to finish it: We ran out of milk. I called my mom and said “mom can you buy some milk?” |

| Hannah Victoria | Okay, here’s my attempt: ——————————– “I killed her,” he said. I dunno. |

| Illyssa | I have no writing abilities ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She stared into his eyes, fully dilated with his rage and insanity. She was scared. Terrified, actually. “Oh, you did it this time,” he said, his eyes glittering with the fire that was his hate. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I counted blood-stained as 2 words… ^.^ |

| Awful | @dinosaurface Twist! I saw that going in another direction. @lysserneyy Your comment made me imagine someone doing a crossword puzzle, looking up only to ask, “Is blood-stained one or two words?” I found this situation humorous for some reason. Another attempt to call my own: *************************************** “Why do you watch my tower?” I found answer impossible. “Leave, child, and live.” I left, but later returned, resolving to stay there until I had uncovered his meaning. |

| Morgan | Once I ate the banana, the ritual was complete. I had become one of them. One of the secret order of fruit. Over the next six years we traveled the world punishing those who abused the fruit. We adopted all tomatoes in the kingdom and left justice in our wake. |

| Benjamin | I have never heard a more clear dial tone, like the ring of a gun shot in my ears. I can’t touch the buttons. They’re surrounded by a mental force-field, rather than a physical, that I feel in my gut. My finger climbs the mountain of each number. “Hi, Grandma.” |

| Maddie | “I was drunk that night, I didn’t know what happened” he said. |

| Rob | Here’s my attempt: Her hands felt cold in mine as we lay there on the warm ground. Both of us lay on our sides, staring into each other’s eyes. I could see the world behind me reflected in her deep blue eyes. |

| Sarah | Everybody was dead silent. I felt uncomfortable, so I looked around the room and made eye contact with Susanna, who was clearly holding back nervous laughter. Seeing her made me tempted to do the same. I couldn’t blame anyone; after all, what do you sat to that kind of thing? |

| Anna | In a moment, my world came crashing down. What was the point of living without her? There wasn’t point. But a little voice in me rose, saying ‘There are many things worth living for.’ But did I listen? No. Grief overtook me and I plunged the dagger into my chest. |

| Andrea | At the risk of sounding pessimistic, I’ve gotta say life on Earth is tough for a guy like me. Stressful job, problems with a girl, I have your typical issues. My current dilemma’s a bit more distressing, though. Can’t find your favorite shirt? That’s cool. I can’t find my spaceship. |

| Ryan Morgenlander | I never understood the logic behind their thinking. |

| Melissa Smith | So I peed in the shower, go ahead and sue me. What’s that? You are suing me. Well that’s great. It was a fricken figure of speech! My things-to-do list has just gone from: Clean the shower. To clean the shower, by a suit, get a lawyer, don’t get sued. |

| Mary Kate | I hope you know that I am doing this for your own good. I want you to be happy! I do not want you to be put through misery any longer. There. It is finished. I have officially cleared the rumor about you making out with potatoes in your bedroom. |
