Kyle Corcoran | Ok so I just have to get this brain crack out. I have been planning for a long time of writing “Looking For Alaska” the musical. I haven’t gotten very far because I feel like this would be a bad idea, any thoughts? |
Bellamy | Well, it’s possible. BUT the story doesn’t seem to be of a musical type. It’d be a great contemporary play though. |
Kyle Corcoran | A play would be perfect for it. I just said musical because it has all the fun of a play with all the fun of putting music to John’s work. |
Bellamy | What about Will Grayson, Will Grayson? Isn’t that ABOUT a musical? *chuckles* |
Kyle Corcoran | That is actually a pretty interesting idea. I will have to look into it . |
Tucker | I have thought about making it a play myself, but I couldn’t see how it would work, I mean, with scenes like the Junior Prank it would be hard to pull off. |
Kyle Corcoran | That is the problem with turning things into other things. Sometimes you would have to cut some of the stuff that is important for the sake of following certain guidelines. |
