| Indigo | Okay, so I have been working on this project lately, which is split into three parts. I won’t bore you guys with all of the details but I am having some issues with the middle part and I was hoping that if anyone could help me out it would be fellow nerdfighters. I guess part of the reason I am having trouble coming up with examples is because I haven’t really settled on a definitive criteria. But here is the general issue; I need to come up with 9 examples of emotions/traits/some sort of mental presence that when intensified enough could a) result in madness (examples; guilt, isolation) or b) result in a person becoming heartless or even malicious malicious (examples; contempt, egocentric) I hope this makes at least a bit of sense. And I hope some people are willing to offer some suggestions! I would appreciate it more than I can say! <3 |

| Kyle Corcoran | Well I think I can help, but I need a bit more clarity. So your task is to come up with different situations that have possibilities of resulting in states of extreme emotional distress. |

| Indigo | Hmm, well I’m not sure if that is the exact premise but something very close to it. The thing is that it is not just distress, even to an extreme degree. I am looking for something that will legitimately cause a person to go insane, to lose their mind. The premise is that these 9 traits/emotions/whatevers will embody dark forces in the world that possess people and and accumulate until they overflow and eventually turn the person into a literal tooth-and-claw monster. If that helps at all. |

| Aspyn Pierce | Well the first thing I thought of was the Hunger Games. So, maybe having to kill inocent people? |

| Indigo | Sorry guys D: You are giving good suggestions and I appreciate the effort, I just suck at detailing what it is I’m after. Third time’s a charm, maybe? I am basically looking for causes of world suck, be it something people experience passively (loneliness) or something they feel actively (contempt), but is limited to the mind – so not something they do to someone else, and not something someone else does to them. For the example Aspyn provided, the action wouldn’t fit into what I’m looking for, but the resulting guilt would. Does that clear it up a bit? |
