Welcome all Nerdfighters! This thread is a place for anybody who just can’t help but share their awesome singing voice with all of Nerdfighteria. Serious songs, funny songs, sad songs, happy songs and any kind of song in between are welcome!

A few rules, though:
1. Be awesome (and nice) to everyone, whether you’re singing or listening or discussing songs you think you think you’d want to sing.
2. In order to avoid any potential copyright problems, any music you decide to listen to while recording MUST NOT be as loud or louder than your singing voice.
3. Anyone who wishes to play an instrument while singing may do so. :)
4. Making a video of you singing is not highly recommended, but if you really feel like doing so then go for it. xD

Also, anyone who wants to participate should have the necessary software to record yourself as well as an mp3 uploading website (or Youtube) to post your songs here. I will be using Audacity as my recording software and a website called Tindeck to upload my songs (you don’t have to make an account there unless you want to keep track of all your uploaded songs). If anybody can list some alternative websites, I would really appreciate it and will add it here.

Anyway, let’s get started!

This is my rendition of Lithium Flower by Yoko Kanno, which is the ending theme to the anime Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

I had recorded this about a year ago for a different forum’s Karaoke thread, so I thought I’d use it as an example. :D I’m sure there are other people who can do better than I can. xD

Give it a try!

Also, this is not a contest, so don’t worry about how your singing voice sounds. Just have fun with it.
