I think my character crush would have to be The Doctor from Doctor Who (David Tennant or Matt Smith era). He’s just so quirky and gorgeous and awesome.

Biggest character crush from a book: Sorry if I sound biased, but my biggest book character crush is definitely on Augustus freaking Waters. <3 Suave, adorable, flirty, but at the end of the day so lovably pathetic. =)

As for my biggest crush on a TV show, it would probably be Jeremy Johnson from Phineas and Ferb. He is so sweet and accepting! =D

Well, I’ve had quite some crushes, but the first ones that pop in my mind are – book crush – Hermione Granger, and movie crush is a close call between Arwen and Amy Pond.

@Maven Well, yeah, but that’s what makes it so adorable: the fact that she’s SO insecure and SO doesn’t need to be! =)

I have five people that I suppose are character crushes:

1 and 2. Fred (of course pre-war Fred cause I don’t think a dead Fred is a very happy or loving Fred) and George Wesley from Harry Potter. I mean they are hilarious and lighthearted but are also compassionate and endearing.

3. Neal Caffrey from White Collar. Aside from being gorgeous, he’s extremely intelligent and quick witted.

4. Gale Hawthorne from The Hunger Games. Caring and protective, two traits which are really sexy.

5. Peeta Mellark also from the Hunger Games. Peeta has the biggest and sweetest heart, he is literally willing to die for Katniss even though she didn’t return his love (at first). That willingness alone speaks volumes about his true character and personality.

GUS WATERS, definitly! In total agreement. How could you not love him when John practically MAKES you fall in love with him? A select few for me… Jem from The Infernal Devices and Simon from the Mortal Instruments.

Also, Sam Roth from the Shiver trilogy. He’s so unbelievably sweet. And last but not least, and I hope I find ONE person in agreement with me on this… Charlie from Perks of Being a Wallflower fame. Never have I felt like I have known a character so well. And he is so wonderful and intellegent and lovely and broken and… real. It’s great.

@drwholove YES! Someone else who has read Perks! My favorite book ever. Even made a review of it on my channel. And I’d be totally fine with Charlie being my best friend forever. He’s too lovely for proper words. And no one has to stop falling in love with fictional characters.

My biggest character crush’d probably be Thalia Grace from the Percy Jackson series.
Second the pre-mental breakdown version of Cho Chang.
Third the teenage Chi-Chi from the end of Dragon Ball.
Fourth Videl in Dragon Ball Z, way more before she cut her hair, but still some afterward.
And fifth Lindsey Lee Wells from an Abundance of Katherines. The only female character from on of John Green’s novels I could stand. Other than maybe Maura and Hazel.

Fox Mulder from The X Files! The only character crush I’ve had for my entire life (since circa 1998)! He’s just amazingly creative, intelligent, open-minded, with best job in the world (FBA agent investigating supernatural phenomena), witty, funny, sarcastic, gorgeous, handsome and mysterious. And above all a very good person. God, I wish he was real!

Ok straight off the bat, Hermione Granger. Books, but also films, being roughly the same age as the characters as they came out.
At the time of reading, Lyra Belacqua from His Dark Materials (especially in the Amber Spyglass, and especially in the Non-US edition.)
Augustus Walters. Yes I know he’s a straight man. BUT LET ME DREAM DAMN IT.

And Gale. (I’ve only read the first book mind you, and in relation to his probable straightness, see above.)

I’d have to say the tenth doctor. His spikey hair is amazing and how he can just walk around and be like yup I know whats going on and I’m cool. He’s just so smooth and sexy.

I’m gonna have to add a new one: Étienne St. Clair!! (Have any Nerdfighters read Stephanie Perkins’ books?) He is just so freaking adorable and romantic and snarky and FTL I love him. <3

EDIT: Also, Cricket Bell deserves some love too. He's so sweet and insecure and such a perfect boyfriend. I just wanna give him a hug. =D
