Which edition are we using? If its 3.5 I will need someone to show me how to make a character because I’ve only used 4e before.

Have we decided yet if it will be through skype? That would be easiest for me as I don’t really have much of a camera set up and not sure how I would do it other wise.

And do we have any time differences? I live in england.

I’m not opposed to running the game in 3.5. I suppose we need to hear back from @tomalsoknownastom to know if he’s got a strong preference either way.

Maw “The Earth-breaker” God of fire and magma
Alignment: Chaotic-Evil
Favored Weapon: Warhammer / Earthsmasher
Domains: Fire, Earth, Destruction, Evil
Symbol: A volcano, mid-eruption.

Capricious and evil, Maw was once known as Sternar, the brother of Bachnar (God of Stone and Craftsmen). During the beginning of the first age he was tasked with containing the plane of fire and stiring the world’s molten core. After his corruption in the second age by the first born, he has acted against his brother, pushing molten rock through the earth’s crust in an effort to destroy the world.

Temples to Maw are almost unheard of, though shrines exist — usually hastely constructed by crazed arsonists hoping for a boon before their holocausts.

Clerics of Maw are scions of destruction; displaying all of their god’s capriciousness if not all of his power. They tend to be violent and take joy in collateral damage.

Rumor has it that temples to sternar still exist in the heart of long-abandoned dwarven cities — hailing from the very begining of the second age. But, if such temples exist, no one knows where they lay.

Benevolent if somewhat absent-minded, Sikes is typically depicted as a doe mid-leap. The goddess of fertility, growth and love, Sikes has tried to fulfill the role left vacant by the now corrupted Kiam (God of Living things, now Lord of the Dead). A popular diety, Sikes is worshipped widely in times of surplus and at annual planting and harvest festivals and petitioned in times of hardship (sometimes she forgets).

Temples to Sikes tend to be located in forests, gardens and glades — though every farming town has at least one shrine to the goddess of growth.Traditionally, hunters gard their first kill of the new year in a wreath of dried spring flowers in respect for Sikes.

Clerics of Sikes are lively and vivacious, often moving from one celebration to the next. Ever helpful and always welcome, stories abound in which clerics of Sikes appear, solve a problem with a smile and ease before slipping away into the night — not before having some well deserved fun of course.

I want it recorded that my vote is officially for 3.5 D&D. I think it would be okay to have house rules to balance the game, but although I did enjoy the game we played, I didn’t like the technical part of it. However, if I’m out voted I wont be offended. It wasn’t horrible, I just like 3.5 better. (c;

He hasn’t been active in over 2 weeks. If he doesn’t respond in a couple of days, we should open up the game to a different player.

As to the system vote? I’m all for 3.5 since most folk know it already, but I am glad that at least Pathfinder was given a fair shake. So to speak.
