Corran hailed the approching Ghoul. “Harvey, how many months has it been?”

Harvey had approached the group with his hands raised, not intending to get shot.
“Keep your shirts on, I’m not feral.” He explained calmly.

Suddenly he recognized one of the group’s members as Corran Norona. A man he had had a couple of previous encounters with. He seemed to recognize him as well.

“Oh, a year, year and a half?” Harv replied. “Say, Kal? you mind telling your com-pal to lower that cutter of his? Making me nervous.” He nodded in Wu’s direction.

Max tried to look as intimidating as possible while limping. “State your name, you zombie.” Max clutched his gun tightly.

OOC: Oh, yeah. Max is racist. I figured it would make stuff interesting if one of us was.

Harvey had almost put his hands down when another man strode toward him with a shotgun.
“Name’s Harv, smoothskin.” He answered, not bothering to get angry over the zombie comment.

So this was the group he had been told about. He had been drinking away his money at a bar in Niagara, telling his vertibird story, when the man had aproached him with the offer.
All he had to do was to get a group of four from point A to point B. Easy caps, done deal.

“I know my way around most vehicles, yes.”

“Sounds like a plan.” Max, he glared at Harvey before walking away to see what was around. He needed to replenish his supply of medical items. He found a medkit in a restaurant with only one stimpak and a steady, perfect for him.

“They’ve probably picked this area dry at this point. Hence the infighting when we showed up.” Corran plopped down in one of the chairs. “So who’s got the map of where we’re going? we need to start planning our route.”

“Thanks, Jamie.” He headed over to a table, spreading the map out and comparing their location relative to the objective. “Wu, Harvey, any ideas?”

“Well,” Corran pondered, “We could cut through what’s left of Boston and around Harvard, thus giving us a clear path into the main complex at MIT”

Harvey nodded. “I don’t mind the radiation, but i see your point.”
He examined the map further.
“It should work. The Charles River dried up a long time ago, so we should be able to cross, bridges or not.”

Wu nodded “we can gather the food that is left hear and hunt on the way… Also what sort of tools you need cause then we know what to look for.” The fire was now crakling merrily and warming the place up.

“We should be able to get those in old Cambridge if not before of course.” He took out a thin sliver of yaoguy meat and stuck it on a spit.

“Well I need a new pair of googles,a good-quality 16-oz. claw hammer, some kind of utility knife, tapes,pliers preferably needle nose and possibly a set of vise grips, a small flashlight ,several types of wrenches an adjustable wrench is a must, and a crescent wrench might also come in handy an allen wrenches wed be nice too, maybe a saw,screwdrivers as in a standard and a Phillips. Also look at a set of nut drivers and maybe a set of jeweler’s screwdrivers depending. Oh and if you find any washers, nuts, bolts, screws, nails those wed be nice two. ” Jaime smile largely as she said out loud the list of tools.

Corran, after listening to the exchange, followed Wu’s lead. he went over to a corner a little seperate from the other, and proceded to set up his sleeping gear.

Max sat next to the fire and waited until everyone was back. He didn’t want anyone dying on his watch.

Jami sat up rumbaing sleep out of her eyes. Her hair stood out in eve witch way and a wrench was curled in her arm like a teddy. ” Five more minutes ,” She mumbled sleepily.

“I am up. I’ve been up. Sleep is for whimps.” Max said from the fire, which was now much bigger than necessary.

Corran entered in, he had woken before Wu and gone hunting. He arrived intime to hear Jami’s groggy question. He tossed a couple rabbits onto the table. “There will be food once we start cooking.”

“You can sleep when you’re dead, kid.”
Harvey got up and put on his clothes.

“We need to get an early start if we want to get there today.”
He sat down by the fire, waiting for someone to prepare the bunny steaks.

Jami scarfed down her rabbit, she hadn’t eaten in a while. She then grabbed a small bag she had found last night. The bag was fully of things she need, she didn’t get every thing and not a lot of it was in grate condition, but it was better then nothing. Swing this over her shoulder and flowed the other out of the door stile a little sleepy.

“What, not used to eating something that’s already dead?” Max said aloud to Harvey. “I agree, let’s start getting going.”

OOC: I guess we could just arrive in Cambridge sooner.

Harvey didn’t much care for those kind of remarks, but he wasn’t too good of a shot. Picking fights were rarely a good idea. He’d just have to tolerate this guy.
