 Kiar | I know it sounds weird, but ever since I can remember (this dates back before kindergarten) bats have been my favorite animal. When I was in elementary school, I learned everything I could about bats, and challenged other kids to ask me any question about them, and I claimed I would know it. Luckily, 1st graders have no imagination when it comes to that kind of thing, so I was able to answer pretty much everything they could throw at me. But what it comes down to? Honestly? Bats are the only mammal that can fly. <3 |

 Kyle | As a kid, monkeys were my favourite animal because of the fact that they climbed everywhere and ate bananas. They’re still my favourite, but also because they’re adorable, they’re like little kids, they’re affectionate, they can be trained to do tons of stuff, and they can use their tail like another hand. Awesome! |

 Anna | Bats are among my favorite, partially because they are the only mammals that have truly evolved to fly, and I am jealous. I also like the Kakapo, Whale sharks (just because they are awesome) and the blue footed booby,(not because of the name, but because I think they are adorable) |

 Stephanie Foulds | Owls. I’m obsessed with them – not entirely sure why. I love how they symbolise intelligence but they can also be portrayed as quiet ditsy… I think they’re extremely cute, expecially the cartoon owls with giant eyes. An owl is also my patronus. |
