Name: Laura Steep

Appearance: Long red hair, many freckles all over her body. She has very pale skin, and the bright blue eyes many gingers are graced with,
Personality:Kind hearted, but looses her temper very easily. She does not often think about what she is saying until after it is said.
Quick Bio: Laura comes from an wizarding family, save her aunt who was a squib. At the first sign of war, her aunt disappeared in the middle of the night, never to be seen again. Despite her family’s protests, Laura returned to school to stand up to Voldemort in the only way she could- to keep on keepin’ on.

Name: Jarred Matthews

Year: Sixth
House: Gryfindor
Allegiance: Dumbledore’s Army.
Appearance: He’s tall 6’6ish, and sort of built. Has long shaggy black hair, that cover his ears and eyes, and falls just short of his shoulders. Dark grey eyes.
Personality: He’s arrogant, and aggressive. He can’t do written exams well, but his Charms and Combative magic are extremely good. Practical exams. Those are what he’s good at.
Quick Bio: He’s a pure blood, He’s dad is dead, and his Mom is a death eater. Lives with his older brother in London. Was born and raised in America, so he has an American Accent.((Which as far as I’m concerned, isn’t an accent)) Isn’t doing so hot in school, struggling in just about everything.

Name: Annabel Lyons

Allegiance: DA. Of course.
Appearance: Dark hair, long, straight but with a flick at the end. Big Brown eyes too, she’s 5’7″.
Personality: Her big brown eyes means that everyone thinks she looks entirely sweet and innocent, nobody would suspect her at all. She plays this to the whole, especially with the Carrows. Hardly ever gets caught, even when she does she can usually get out of any punishment.
Quick Bio: She’s a pureblood but certainly not an old family, still she’s grown up in the wizarding world her whole life, she never took muggle studies so she knows nothing about anything muggle.

Name: Mia Bennett
Gender: Female
Year: Seventh
House: Ravenclaw
Allegiance: DA
Appearance: Curly light brown hair, blue/gray eyes, 5′ 4”
Personality: Extremely logical and book smart, tends to be kind to people, but can be a bit of a know it all.
Quick Bio: Mia and her twin brother, Russell, were the first wizards in a family of extremely religious muggles, who disowned them once they found out about magic. Russell was sorted into Slytherin and ended up dropping out of school once the Second Wizarding War began. Mia no longer talks to anyone from her family.

Name: Celestine Harper
Gender: Female
Year: Seventh
House: Ravenclaw
Allegiance: Dumbledore’s Army
Appearance: Egyptian. She has very tan skin and curly black hair. Her eyes are bright blue. She’s tall and sort of lanky.
Personality: A know-it-all. She can be a tad stuck up at times, but she’s usually polite. She tends to keep to herself.
Quick Bio: She was adopted by a pure-blood wizard family. Her parents used to work with the Ministry of Magic, but are now in hiding. She didn’t really want to go to Hogwarts this year, but her parents made her, insisting that her education is the highest priority.

OOC: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaw

Damion lay lazily in his hammock, one arm laying of the edge, fast asleep. “I don’t wanna get up…” He mumbled, as he heard others rustling around.

Damion waved his arms in the air. “No!” He rolled off, and landed on his feet. He shook out his messy brown hair. He chucked the cushion back and grinned. “Hey, every day gets us a step closer to the possible DEFEAT of you-know-who, so there’s the bright side.”

Laura deflected it, so that it hit someone else’s hammock. It’s occupant moaned and shifted slightly, but remained unconscious. “I hope so,” She’d only been in the Room for about a week now, but she had to admit that the moral was stronger among those who lived there. “What do you have today?” she asked Damion. It was always nice to have people on her side in her classes.

OOC: I think so… I don’t know. I need a refresher as well. It’s been a while for me too.

Hunter made it to the door he had needed to get to without trouble, and thought of what he needed before he opened it and entered the room. “Hello?” Hunter’s voice rang out into the quiet room.

Damion swung back in his hammock. “I’ve tried. It didn’t end well.” He sighed, closing his eyes. “I just wanna punch them all, you know?”

“Oh that’s better than in the slytherin common room! It’s all ‘my deatheater dad killed this person yesterday!’ or ‘The Carrows said I could beat up anybody he badmouthed the dark lord!’ It’s awful. I can’t stand it there.” Damion frowned. “I had a kid walk up to me and COMPLIMENT my parents! He said they were great people! It’s disgraceful to me, I almost had to punch him.”

Hunter walked aimlessly through the room, before stumbling upon Laura and Damion in the sleeping quarters. “Sorry,” he said politely “Didn’t mean to intrude rudely, but, for a lack of better words, I’m bored.”

“Don’t worry, we’re just doing the usual, ranting about all the asses in this place.” Laura calmed herself and sat back down. “How’s Ravenclaw tower?” she asked. “Oh my God,” Laura exclaimed, and reached out to touch the burn. She stroked it gently before her temper flared again. “See this is what I mean. They should be punished for this kind of thing.”

“Kids are scared to do anything. They either have their noses in a book or don’t say anything at all. The risk of abuse is too high they get scared.” Before Damion sauntered off out of the room, Hunter noticed the burns. “What happened to him?”

“Ttied to rebel against a couple of Slytherins.”Laura explained sadly. “We should head to breakfast soon,”she said unwillingly. She gathered her long hair into a bun at the top of her head and grabbed her bag. “Come on Damion!” she called, not wanting him to rush at all really. Leaving the Room was like walking into a different, more hostile world.

Hunter followed Laura, feeling exposed once leaving the room. It was enemy territory outside the safety of the room. Hunter rubbed his stomach, “I hope they serve something good.”

Damion frowned. “I don’t want to eat with the snakes…” He came around the corner and to the great hall. “Well, Laura, Hunter. Have a nice breakfast.”

Laura laughed, “Bye Damion! Be good, it’s only breakfast yet,” She smiled as he left. Turning to Hunter she said, “See you after then?”

Hunter smiled at Laura, “You got it.” He trotted off to the Ravenclaw table ready to devour everything he could.

Laura sat down quietly among her fellow Gryffindors. She tried to fit in as best as possible to avoid suspicion for Snape who, as always scrutinized the Gryffindor table as if he expected Harry Potter to turn up. She whispered short phrases like “Pass the salt,” or, “Everything okay?” to her friends, but very little else. She had taken to not trusting anyone fully who was outside of the DA. Protecting them was one thing,, but confiding in them a different thing entirely. She ate slowly, hooping that would make time seem to pass faster.

OOC: Gasp! We started while I was selling baked goods! What has happened so far?

OOC: I hate sleeping, it means I miss everything. XD

Adrian stood in the shared bathroom of the 7th year Hufflepuff boys’ dorm, pulling a pained face as he applied some dittany to his lip. The Carrows had given him that, because he had refused to answer a question on inferi. They knew… they had to know. “Bloody bastards.” He shrugged on his cloak and trudged down to the Great Hall, earning some sympathetic glances as he sat down at the table for breakfast.

Damion ate fast, eager to get away from the tab;e and back to his friends.
