| Sheridyn | Elizabeth started to slip away from the crowd, backing out slowly. She loved attention, but this was far too much of the wrong kind. |

| Jaan | OOC: My charecter just asked abut you from Diego as you were withdrawing, Hank might be cursed with something and Rowan talked with the bartender and then proceeded to run to the scene of the shooting and that’s pretty much it. |

| Jet-Kyo | ((awwwwright)) Ignoring his deceased father, Jaden started to walk towards the scene of the shooting. He kept his hands out of his pockets, looking as professional as he could. “Rowan! There were no sings for me to be able to tell which of the registered Vauds could have done this..” he looked around for a second, “What’s going on here??” |

| Munk | At the sound of the witch’s voice, Hank spun around, at the same time trying to hide the bottle and his flushed face. As a result, a dense cloud of black powder rose around him, and he bent over, coughing and sneezing. Resting his hands on his knees and trying to catch his breath, he looked up at the witch, both ashamed and frightened. “What—what’s in that bottle?” |

| Kiar | Alyesha covered her face, backing out of the room. “Fool!” She made several gestures of warding and protection. “Madre de Dios, don’t move! Don’t touch anything, and for the love of God, don’t move! ” Alyesha hurried to the back of her counter, where she searched hurriedly for an empty bottle. When one was found, she whispered a few words into the top, and they settled along the rim in green writing, before fading out of sight. Back to the room with Grover, she pointed the bottle at the man and uncorked the lid. The remaining black dust that hung in the air was suddenly sucked into the bottle, as if by an invisible vacuum. Corking the lid, she observed the amount left inside. “Well, you’ve certainly had a mouthful. Took in more than half of the stuff.” She looked up at Grover, who was still standing motionless in the center of the room, as she had instructed. Sighing, she took a seat. “You can sit down. Just don’t touch anything, for goodness’ sake.” She looked at him evenly. “I’m afraid you’ve got a bit of death in you.” |

| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | “What is it?” Diego asked. |
| February 9, 2012 at 2:36 pm #51347 | |
| Jaan | “A odd scroll with strange writing on it. My client said he would know what it would mean….” Smoke shrugged again “So you know him?” |

| Munk | OOC: Aaaall right, let’s get this baby rollin’! Hank stopped dead in his tracks. Death? That was ridiculous. It took a full three seconds before he realized that in this place, it might not be as implausible. “…Death?” he stammered. He dropped onto a chair, his hands shaking. “What do you mean, death? You can’t bottle death. Is it—” he leaned forward, resting his arms on his knees and began to retch violently. That little bottle of black powder couldn’t be poison, could it? He regained his composure and looked at the witch with fear in his eyes. “Am I gonna die?” |
| February 14, 2012 at 7:05 pm #54430 | |
| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | “We’re aquatinted I guess…” diego replied |
| February 15, 2012 at 6:31 am #54944 | |
| Kiar | Alyesha gave a barking laugh. “No, you will not die – but all that touches your skin will. The powder contains a curse; the touch of death.” Alyesha sighed and rubbed her head. “I thought it was safe in here, for this room is charmed such that no person of ill-intention can enter, and the bottle can only be found by one who is not seeking it. Apparently, that wasn’t enough.” She looked over at the man to see that he was trembling. What a mess he had made of things! “One moment,” she said, ducking quickly into the back of her shop where she lived. Alyesha quickly returned with two cups of tea and a pair of gloves. She tossed the leather gloves on the table near where Grover sat. “You’d better keep those on until I’ve figured out how to fix this.” |

| Jaan | “Well tell him a Mr Smoke was looking from him and he will be waiting for him in the bar if he wnts to talk.” Smoke smiled at the ghost and proceeded towards the bar with Jenny. |

| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | “I’ll let him know if I see him.” Diego nodded, then looked around for Tristan and Elizabeth. |
| February 15, 2012 at 11:33 pm #55121 | |
| Jet-Kyo | “…Rowan? What do they mean? That Smoke character asked for a ‘Severin Worner’.. but he was an arms dealer who died years ago. What are they talking about?” he whispered. |

| Munk | Carefully Hank pulled on the gloves. The information hadn’t quite processed yet, it seemed. The cloves were made of a soft cloth, maybe some sort of soft leather. It didn’t feel like any kind of fabric he’d worn before. Going home was out of the question. One touch from Sarah, and… No, he couldn’t have that. Christ, he’d really fucked things up! “So,” he said after taking a sip of the tea. It was good and strong. “What do I do?” |

| Kiar | Alyesha drank from her own cup. It was lightly charmed to warm the body and help one to think straight – she needed all the thinking she could get right now. “Honestly?” She glanced at the bottle filled with the black powder. There wasn’t much left. “You can’t do anything; I never found a cure. Years ago I was working on a way to break the curse, but the infected person died – of natural causes. Still, after he went, I didn’t have any way of testing possible antidotes, and research stopped there.” She took another drink. “Looks like we’re stuck working together until I find out how to fix this.” |

| Munk | Hank stood up, tipping over his cup. The smell of the tea mingled with that of his anxious sweat. “What, so I’m supposed to just be your guinea pig and stay here while you experiment on me?” He ran a gloved hand through his hair. “I mean, I’ve got a wife, a pregnant wife, waiting for me at home, I can’t go home to her now! I can’t go to work—I’m a living biological weapon!” Hank turned and lashed violently at the air. “Fuck!” He looked down at her. “There must be something you can do! You know magic, can’t you wave a wand or something? Fuck!” |
| February 21, 2012 at 3:40 am #57273 | |
| Kiar | Alyesha stood as Grover did, ((should I just start calling him Hank?)) placing the table in between them. “This isn’t a fairy tale, and curses are not lightly given – or taken back.” She was trying to see things from his point of view, but his aggression was just agitating her more. “I’m not asking you to stay here – I’m not even asking you to go through with the experiments. But I’m the best chance you’ve got.” She sagged, resting bother her hands on the table, and hung her head. “Okay. Think. Let me think.” |

| Munk | “You fucking better think, it’s your goddam death powder!” Hanks hands were now ruffling through his hair without him realizing it, turning his previously neat haircut into a greying bird’s nest. He’d always thought of himself as quite, if not handsome, then at least presentable, but with his hair standing straight up and his face distorted into a mask of fear and anger, he looked nothing like the middle-aged man who had entered the shop earlier. OOC: Yeah, nothing exciting here. Playing an angry man has surprisingly little nuance to it |

| Jaan | OOC: Just posting to get this more high up Smoke sat down at the bar and ordered himself a whiskey. “Want something Jenny?” Jenny shrugged and sat next to him “You think he will come?” Smoke nodded and drained his glass. “Defenetly… I have a strange feeling about this job.” Jenny sighed “I know what you mean. That Blackjack…” She shuddered. |

| Jet-Kyo | ((I’ll be posting.. but idk how often. I really hope I don’t have to leave.)) Severin felt a tug on his soul, like something hadn’t been done. It made no sense, he’d done everything— then he remembered the favor. He’d never come to collect. But had that really broken the boundry of life and death as Severin had? He followed the tug into a bar and materialized next to a Vampire who was drinking heavily and a younger looking girl. “…And who might you two be?” Jaden was ordered to go search around the area about the crime scene. “But I’m just a–” but he was cut off, so he moved along. “Alright..” he noticed a woman walk into a bar area. But she looked almost familiar… and suspicious. His eyes started to shift again and he put on a pair of sunglasses, walking into the bar. He looked around but no one was in sight.. in the front. He started to head to the back room. |
| March 6, 2012 at 11:06 am #63490 | |
| Jaan | “Smoke and this is Jenny… You must be Severin then. Black Jack told me to give you this.” He handed Severin the scroll. |

| Kiar | OOC: I’m not really sure how to jump back into this :/ |
| March 6, 2012 at 3:32 pm #63514 | |
| Munk | OOC: No, I’ve been wondering the same thing. Right now the game seems to have stalled a bit. Perhaps a time jump would be in order. |
| March 7, 2012 at 5:57 pm #63900 | |
| Jet-Kyo | ((maybe a good idea. course, Jaden’s in yo place lol)) Smoke took the scroll, “Let’s discuss this elsewhere…” He said, rolling it up and handing it back, “You’ll have to come with me for a bit, as I can’t keep a solid form for long periods of time.” |
| March 9, 2012 at 2:06 pm #64573 | |
| Jaan | Smoke finished hid drink threw money on to the bar and followed the man out. |
| March 15, 2012 at 1:56 am #67345 | |
| Sheridyn | OOC: Posting simply to bump up the thread… Elizabeth backed into Tristan and spun around to face him, “Where’s the ghost?” She asked, brushing a stray piece of hair from her face. |
