hi there,
I’m Luna and I LOVE music. And when I say love I mean like love in a way that only true nerds can love stuff.
But I would like to discover some new stuff. So if you have any suggestions, please leave them here bellow( we could make this like a music recommendation topic}. i don’t really care if it’s from a youtube musician or not, or if it’s from a well known one or not. But here is a list of stuff I like so you know what kinda music I’m into:
- Birdy
- Kate Nash
-She and Him
- tom milsom
- Mika
- Sliimy
- wolf parade
- Robyn
- SUPERCUTE
- Danny Elfman
- Agnus & julia Stone
- Alex day
-Stars

ermmm I also love soundtracks (even when I don’t know the movie :P }, I also love classical stuff. But I also like hip hop, sometimes, when it has like decent lyrics and stuff, I am also really into the more alternative indie style music, but I’m really open to anything. But I have to addmit that I’m not a big fan of stuff like selena gomez, rihanna, taylor swift… No offence if you’re a fan, but I just don’t really like their music, but It’s not that i go to their music videos and give some hater comment, I respect all music.
Any way, if you guys have any recommendation let me know! Or fi you need some new music in your life you can leave a comment with the stuff you like to and we could like make this a music recommend topic or something

DFTBA!

Check out The World Inferno Friendship Society, if there’s a such thing as a Cult Band those guys definitely qualify. They’re rather unknown, but their fanbase is so into their stuff they can still manage to throw a huge concert yearly.

Laura Stevenson and the Cans also came out with one of the best records last year.

As far as Hip Hop goes I only listen to Sole and the Skyrider Band and Death Grips. Death Grips isn’t for everyone however, but nevertheless they are the most fascinating band I’ve ever listened to. They make “futuristic music” for everyone thats based on very primal aspects of humanity, it’s really cool.

Oh and judging from the music you listed you’re a total hipster :P

I find it hella cool and funny you recommended Death Grips. Totally does not seem like nerdfighter music at all. I guess that’s what makes this community awesome. I feel like other nerdfighters would like The Polyphonic Spree and The Flaming Lips. They’re just so full of good vibes. I went to a Flaming Lips concert last year and it was all confetti and lasers. Plus their lead singer walked on the crowd in a giant hamster ball.

Gold Lion has an album out for free download: http://goldlion.mediaroserecords.com/album/begin

She’s a 15-year-old singer-songwriter; she sounds a bit like Feist or Colbie Caillat.
