| deadlyloofah | I came up with this idea awhile ago, that it would be super cool for everyone to make a short movie/scene with friends, doesn’t have to be super professional, and it can be about anything. But it’s a chance for you to get out of the house, grab some friends and make an awesome little movie. then one night we would all get together on blogtv and I would play the submissions and we would just have a fun time seeing everyone creativeness. You don’t have to have a professional rig. This could be your first ever short little skit movie thing. But I think it would be a fun time So here are the basic rules They cannot be viewed before the film festival. You can upload them to youtube but set it to private. Reason behind this: If everyone sees all the movies, no real insensitive to get together to watch them! It can’t be something you have already worked on, it has to be a special thing just for this. If you are interested leave a comment below, and we can work out dates and times, etc.

| Ana | Love the idea. What if a youtube account was created for the film festival? Everyone would email it to someone, and it would be in the same channel that way. Or do a thumbnail (I think that’s the name…) like we do for P4A. Or something on that train of thought, I’m just brainstorming here. |

| Lauren | The channel thing is a good idea. The thumbnail thing might not work out, though, because then we’d all have to do something weird to get it to work. How are we doing this? Like, are we going to do different categories? (Documentary, narrative, animation, music, etc) Or are they all going to have to include like a line or a prop or something? |

| deadlyloofah | Alright here is how things will work. We aren’t going to do categories for the first year I don’t see any reason. It will all be based on how well you can tell a story I will make a youtube channel and there will be submissions. I doubt a whole lot of videos will be submitted but if we get more than 10 or so then i will get my film-maker friends to look over them and decide which 10 will go online. After the first year of this it will be audience choice. |

| Lauren | Well, we need to spread the word somehow. |
