forgot to mention, the server is all updated. been playin for a bit, if anyone is interested, i usually play from around 3-5pm ET or 7-8PM ET on weeknights. on the weekends its usually 7-10AM and 7-10PM ET. Come build!

I would join, but as I’m an admin on another server I feel I have to stay on that one. Maybe this summer if you’re still online I’ll join. I’m a fairly decent builder and spend most of my time building various creations..but yeah I’d be willing to work with the community. I’ll drop him an email nonetheless..maybe if my own server is dead dead I’ll check this one out

Nevermind! I looked at the map that’s online and found it. I thought we built it farther from the main city. I was up for hours on end working on that beard! So glad to see that it hasn’t been demolished.

Yeah we really need to get the server updated to 1.2. I’ve upgraded but still have my old .jar file..but it’s a pain in the ass to switch between servers now :p

Also, I’m presuming it won’t be updated to 1.2 until Bukkit updates along with all the plugins that are on the server?

@xxmintyfreshxx Yeah I dunno when it’ll be back up though. I get the feeling that the owners only check on it periodically…

@isak there was a Bukkit beta release for 1.2 but I’d be guessing about a week before a “recommended” one is realeased

@luke I’m well aware of the beta release, I was referring to our server getting bukkit for 1.2…
Yeah, I know we’re pretty much screwed without warps…

@czmj Wow, that’s a long way from Hogwarts… You could try to find spawn, it should be close. Then take the rail to Kings cross, and then go west (I think).

Last night I smelled smoke and went in to find the Nerdfigher Minecraft Server offline. I am trying to find replacement hardware right now and as soon as I do will have it back up and will post here.

@luke This is indeed very unlucky.
The reason it was dead was because it didn’t have Bukkit anymore. People couldn’t get around as easy and I think they got tired and decided to wait until it was fixed.

@luke Notlarry did actually fix Bukkit a day or so before the crash. So I’m sure it will be bukkit on it when the new server is up.
