 Kiar | OK, well this isn’t exactly 1v1 but I would like to start (or join) a roleplay that is actually long-lived. Me, Jet-Kyo, Althis and Beamer had a good one going on the old YP, and it was nice to develop characters over a longer period of time. We tried restating it here, but it didn’t work out. If anyone is interested in a rp that won’t die in the first two weeks, or has any ideas, let me know. |

| Jaan | Well for longer timed roleplays it is easier to do a play with fewer people as when you roleplay with more than two or more people you relay on them too much to post and when they don’t you cant post anything your self. But if all party’s promise to post then it really does not matter what amount of people you are currently roleplaying with as long as you have a good idea. At least that’s what I have learned |

| Kiar | I feel like you need a broad topic, too. That way anyone can take the plot in whatever direction they choose, instead of having to rely on the game master to direct the story. But yeah, having a smaller number of players certainly helps. And it keeps characters more focused. |

| Jaan | I would argue that when the game master is good and actually on the forums a lot then it works actually weary well. Though generally I do agree freedom to move in the plot without many restrictions is good. |
