 Gabriel | Being a Nerdfighter for quite some time, I try to think about ways to make the world more awesome, as any nerdfighter would do. I came up with an idea a couple months ago but never really had the time to work on it, until recently. It’s based on http://milliondollarhomepage.com/ except this time, it’s not to make money. It’s called Pixel4Charity. The idea is simple. You can buy pixels from a grid, put in any image you want, and all the money goes to a charity. The charity we will be raising money for is Child’s Play, who seeks to improve the lives of children in hospitals. If you’ve never heard of it, you should check it out http://www.childsplaycharity.org/. Our goal is to sell all the pixels on our 1000×1000 grid which is worth 5000$ (0,005$/pixel). I think it’s a fun project and it will be interesting to see what the grid will look like with all the images from the donators. It’s a nice way to help people in need while participating in a work of art. That is, if people participate in it, which is why I’m posting this here. I believe in the power of the Nerdfighteria!
