| deadlyloofah | Audio is good, I would recommend editing it though, jump cuts and the like. It’s just a personal preference that when people say “Um…” In a video it drives me insane. Because it can simply be edited out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NOVz7AvqUI Mine |

| Sen | I found your face really close to the camera, It was just to close for me for the standard shot. It was also quite shaking, though it did suit the question/informal style of the video. Other then that I enjoyed it. http://www.youtube.com/user/Pruechelan?feature=mhee#p/u/12/f2NkLJN-gRE |

| Nina | To be completely and totally honest, I wasn’t really sure what was going on. There was too much buildup for just not enough stuff. Would have also been helpful if you had told me in the beginning rather than the credits, if this was just footage that you edited together or something. Because it just seemed like a very random video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOvQNDfZNTw&feature=g-upl&context=G2d7068dAUAAAAAAABAA |

| K. Brown | I loved your content, particularly the Katherine Tate quote. If you angled yourself so that your face was towards the window with the camera in between you and the window, the light hitting the lense wouldn’y obscure your face so much My most recent vlog isn’t the most fascinating but it’s pretty short. |

| Travis | Review: I am not the best person to judge vlogs but it was not bad and flowed pretty well. |
| February 1, 2012 at 10:49 pm #47439 | |
| Nina | Thanks for those tips! And I actually really liked your vlog. It was honest and nice and it was really personal and that seemed like what you wanted to give to your audience and I felt that. Honestly, if there’s one criticism I’d say shut the door. The door was a little bit distracting, but I liked it! :] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsEdG2vNH8c&feature=g-u-u&context=G2705da7FUAAAAAAALAA |

| deadlyloofah | Good video interesting story |

| Nina | I posted a comment, via my second channel. I really liked it. I think it’s gonna be a good movie. I can’t wait to see it. Umm, it did have kind of an awkward cutout, which once you realized you were just trimming was fine, but for a second there, it was just kind of nargly. |
| February 2, 2012 at 9:00 pm #47858 | |
| Chloe Pearce | You expressed yourself well and your thoughts were coherent. However, your video was a little blurry, and the fact that the light was shinning much stronger on one side of your face bothered me. |
| February 2, 2012 at 10:15 pm #47891 | |
| Nina | yeah, unfortunately getting that light right is tricky business and it’s natural lighting so sometimes it can just wash me out. Now, your video came out sounding really strong. I liked what you talked about but your voice tone, that anger, might not have been the best way to relay the message. Because you did go in to that magazine only to get the poster, so it would have been a little bit easier to handle if you had been a little bit more lighthearted or surprised by it. Because while those magazines have dumb articles like that some people find them interesting and think there was definitely a risky move to talk so openly with that tone? I don’t know if that makes much sense, but I hope it does. |

| February 3, 2012 at 11:08 pm #48500 | |
| Nina | It was interesting, the audio got a little silent at times which seemed to be distracting more than anything but other than that, it’s pretty good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SYAjnO197Q&feature=g-upl&context=G298a598AUAAAAAAAAAA |

| Travis | I have not finished TFIOS so i did not watch it but here is my video |
| February 4, 2012 at 10:24 pm #48977 | |
| deadlyloofah | Ok I’ll criticize this as someone who has been working on film since i was about 15. That being said good job for a first try. |
| February 4, 2012 at 10:52 pm #48998 | |
| Nina | The editing was obviously good, umm, I wanted more content though. Also please don’t ever drink more than four red bulls period. I fear what effect that has on your side of the world. |
| February 5, 2012 at 2:12 am #49060 | |
| Josh Hill | A very good video nina, it was interesting, but you need to get yourself a editing software even if it is movie maker and edit the volume of your voice and jump cut your videos because if you just talk people loose interest even if it is the most interesting video on the planet. |
| February 5, 2012 at 2:45 am #49072 | |
| Nina | I actually really like that video but you do ramble a little bit. That’s the nature of the beast though. I would really like to see a little more brightness but other than that, I really like that. I can’t say too much because my aren’t the brightest. Also I’m learning how to do the Jump Cut thing-y. It might be a little too prevalent in this video but I like the way it went. And I’ll work on trying to get the volume a bit better tomorrow, but for right now, at least one of those things is fixed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1e87uMeIbnA&feature=g-upl&context=G298a598AUAAAAAAAAAA

| Tom | Well done, Chloe. A few technical notes: A few thoughts on the content: Again, well done. My video for review: |
| February 5, 2012 at 6:52 am #49132 | |
| Tom | AWKS, sorry I reviewed the wrong video (I really suck at navigating this forum lol). To compound the problem I also have no idea how to edit my other post, so this will hopefully not confuse everyone in the whole world. So this is the review of Nina’s video: Great job, Nina! My video for review: |

| Tom | P.S. I have people who are interested or learning about physiology watching my videos, I would be VERY interested to hear what someone without this background thinks and specifically what they did and didn’t understand. |
| February 5, 2012 at 5:15 pm #49224 | |
| Andrew | I liked the video; it’s very educational. |
| February 5, 2012 at 6:10 pm #49259 | |
| Colin Harvey | Great video! One thing you could improve on would be to have some more cuts so that there isn’t as much pausing and silence. You have a very good camera presence though and good subjects to talk about and I enjoyed the video a lot. Cutting out the silence would help a ton though. Here’s my video. |
| February 5, 2012 at 6:38 pm #49261 | |
| Harry | Good video! I’m not sure I really have any criticism, you seem very confident infront of the camera and it was entertaining. I watched the whole thing, which is quite unusual for me, I usually lose interest in most videos halfway through |
| February 5, 2012 at 7:43 pm #49282 | |
| Christi | I thought your video was really well done! I loved the fact that it incorporated the two parts, one kinda like a short film, and one vlogging. Also, I really like your presence in front of the camera, it’s really interesting to watch. The title was fantastic, also. The only thing I would say is there was a lot of silence at the beginning. It would’ve been nice for the voice over or even the music to continue while you were doing stuff. But still, great job! I subscribed. :3 My video: http://youtu.be/O9RGEQ644eo |

| Nina | It was cute. I really liked it all. The one I will say is that your voice can be very soothing so it might a little hard to sit through while tired. Which is something that I am concerned about because I actually really really enjoyed the video otherwise. |
| February 9, 2012 at 5:18 pm #51363 | |
| Laurel Ann | First off, I love the title. I too am an interrobang enthusiast. I think you should put “interrobang hipster” on your business cards. |
| February 10, 2012 at 3:32 pm #51810 | |
| Saskia Dunn | I loved this! Even though it’s a video about your life, very easy to just jump right into because obviously it’s not insane specific. I’d really love it if people could take a look at this; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUo0ciwus_Y&feature=g-upl&context=G202e703AUAAAAAAACAA |

| Nina | Okay so as for enthusiasm and lighting and stuff that was all good. The technical aspects were really good. The content felt a little contradictory, because you say that you are uncomfortable with fangirling and yet you stopped to take footage of the TFiOS van. I also have said this previously to other people so please don’t think it’s just me, but you might want to think about toning down on the like forceful and bluntness of that opinion that fangirling is an inherently bad thing. But I liked the video, i just consider myself a fangirl and I don’t think I would ever bow down to John or Hank and stroke their legs or lick their shoes because that is something else entirely. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IE1GsMCusrc&feature=g-upl&context=G2028a3dAUAAAAAAAAAA |
| February 14, 2012 at 1:24 am #54135 | |
| Colin Harvey | Good video! The only thing that I really have to say is that it was kind of slow at times. There were times when you were filming your dog (who is really adorable) where nothing really happened except him staring at the camera. Besides that, great video. I enjoyed it. My video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Erz2aS2lU1E |

| Ryan Murphy | Okay so I liked this video. It’s about a guys spirit alter ego that goes off on an adventure around his house while the original guy just sits around without any ideas for a video, or really feeling like he wants to make one… I think the effects were really cool even though they were a little off at times, but I still thought it was ace! I would like to do a video like this at some point, but I don’t know how you do the whole split screen kind of thing. The best bits are when the guy is dancing around and stuff… I also noticed a copy of TFiOS in the background to one of the scenes which was nice and nerdfighter-ish! Overall I’d rate this video a 4/5! Keep up the good work whoever you are! My video (I hope you like it): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qT45SSndxak Thanks and DFTBA! |

| Christi | I really liked your video! Early on, I was a little bit skeptical about your examples of what you would do as a concierge, because I think that your suitcase carrying went on a bit long, but I think it improved from there. You had me at the cat having the milk delivered. XD I think that having it cut away to different scenes really made the video more dynamic. Also, I like it that you didn’t feel the need to talk on and on about the job. I feel like some vloggers feel the need to say more just to make the video longer if it’s short like this one, and it just ends up sounding forced. I appreciate it that you feel comfortable leaving a video at a minute and a half. It was a really good length for the topic you covered. Ok, I’ll end my ramble now. | Alex | Hey, just watched you video. As far as production goes, you’re doing pretty well. The video looked good, the background is neither too boring or too cluttered and your cuts are done well. However, I found the content kind of boring (don’t take it personally, I almost never enjoy hearing about other peoples’ dreams). The ending was a tad abrupt as well. It was good enough to make me watch some of your other videos though, which I enjoyed much more. I hope that wasn’t too harsh, I promise I’m not a mean person. |
| February 16, 2012 at 11:45 am #55389 | |
| Josh Hill | Hey there alex I am just gonna give you 4 tips then you can try to make another video. I unfortunately did not enjoy your video it lacked luster, although the concept was very good. Basically. 1. Always be in the light, if i cant see you im not interested. 2. For a show like yours write a script and rehearse it until you know it off by heart. 3. Be enthusiastic, in your video you didn’t really seem to care which doesn’t make me care. So be really enthusiastic! 4. Film from higher ground, this will make the audience more comfortable ( i dont know why I didn’t pass Phycology ) This will help when your idea is generally new. I allows people in. I hope this helps and i look forward to your new video. |

| Travis | haha i really liked the video i found it very funny to watch Here is my video i know it is not the best but there was a lot of work put into it It is in two parts |
| February 17, 2012 at 3:38 pm #55918 | |
| deadlyloofah | I already reviewed it and told you my thoughts, none have really changed. Part 2 looks a little better than part one so at least your getting better Last Vlog before we FILM THE TFIOS SHORT MOVIE |
| February 18, 2012 at 3:44 am #56106 | |
| Colin Harvey | You seem to be very passionate about this project which is amazing. Great video, you have a great camera presence, all that jazz, but mainly good luck with the movie. Based off of this video I think that you’ll do an awesome job with it and I’m so excited to see the final product. |
| February 18, 2012 at 10:07 am #56143 | |
| Robin | Colin, that was great! I enjoyed the pun and the way the words appeared next to you on screen. My only advise is to blur the split screen for the clone slightly. |
| February 19, 2012 at 9:36 pm #56715 | |
| deadlyloofah | HA I love the fact that you did very simple camera tricks to make this work. |
| February 20, 2012 at 11:30 pm #57186 | |
| Alex Horn | I am definitely looking forward to the TFiOS movie! What a great idea. The movie seems excellent from the preview. I saw a few commenters complained about Hazel’s wig, but I didn’t think it was that noticeable. |
| February 21, 2012 at 2:44 am #57261 | |
| Alex | I liked the creativity of the punishment and thought the montage was going to be a little boring, but it wasn’t. I do think you should have cut out that beginning section though, and just started out with a simple description of why you’re running around IKEA sitting in chairs. Nice song, btw. The cut right before the meatball clip was a little rough too. I enjoyed watching the video overall, but there was one question I had. How long did it take? You don’t mention it and it’s hard to get a sense of time with a montage. Here’s my video. It’s my first actual review and I’m still trying to find my vlogging voice, but at least the lighting is better. Oh yeah, and if you would be so kind as to recommend a movie for me to watch, I’d greatly appreciate it.

| Colin Harvey | I liked your review. My only suggestion would be to be a little more upbeat and have a stronger camera presence. You said that that was your first review so I’m sure the camera presence will greatly improve with time. I suggested a movie though. Keep it up. |
| February 23, 2012 at 4:04 am #58008 | |
| Saskia Dunn | I really enjoyed it! Work on looking at the camera more, and the split screen was really obvious, but other than that it was well prepared and well edited. Um… I don’t know what this is, or if it will be understandable to anyone who’s not me, but: |
| February 23, 2012 at 5:04 am #58013 | |
| Syamsul | I liked the belching! HAHAHA Loved the shark eating part. I should send this video to my friend whose nickname is ‘Shark’ |

| deadlyloofah | I like it, good camera angles good composition, very interesting, it’s one of the better videos I have seen on youtube. Film Adaptation of the First chapter of TFiOS I hope you enjoy pass it around if you like it |
| February 24, 2012 at 11:59 pm #58480 | |
| Colin Harvey | I really liked it! The characters weren’t how I thought they would be and some of the camera angles didn’t work as well as they could have but overall I really enjoyed it and think that you did a fantastic job. |
| February 25, 2012 at 12:33 pm #59012 | |
| Travis | Funny and random but i did like it The first part of my Portal LP http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQ2cDG-tuGw&feature=channel_video_title |
