Okay, I know the whole “Chosen by a God” idea has been used a lot, but…

So I’ve got this idea, where all the Gods from different mythologies and religions are real, which means all the demons and monsters are real as well. All hell has broken lose, literally, and each of the Gods have chosen one mortal to fight against the demons. And all the mortals have to work together to fix it, bla bla bla… So it’s like a mythology/apocalypse type thing.

Anyone interested?

Welcome to Phantasma was set in this creepy amusement park on Coney Island called Phantasma. Twas filled with oddities and the paranormal.

I’d be really interested in starting an RP/collaborative fanfiction-type deal about pre-made Maxis characters from The Sims 2, but I’m almost positive I’m the only one. Is there anyone else even obsessive enough about the Sims to qualify?

So this is more of a Role Play Thread idea than an idea for a particular roleplay, but what does everyone think about making a Role Playing sub-category where all the dead threads go? As in, we could get all threads that haven’t been edited in at least 2-3 weeks to be moved into that folder. This way, it keeps our main page cleaner without deleting old threads that people may want to go and look back on. We would have to ask an admin about this if anyone else is interested.

I found an old Doctor Who RP thread that has been abandoned. I really like the idea of it, and I was wondering. Would I be able to revive it? If so, who would want to RP in it?

I’ve been thinking of starting a Fallout RP, even though one already exists. It would be largely GM-run, but still focus a lot on flow and storytelling. It would be something resembling the campaigns known from pen and paper RPGs.

Rather than depend on stats and modifiers and such, players would use a six-sided die to determine their own success, so instead of writing “Billy threw the grenade.” and await the GM’s response, the player would roll prior to posting, and if it was, say, a six, write “Billy threw the grenade and watched as the explosion wreaked havoc on three whole super mutants.” Other rolls would be at the GM’s discretion to determine random encounters and such.

It’d still be pretty balanced that way, but with fewer holdups than in play-by-posts RPs with pen and paper rules.

I’m in the process of creating the Kansas Wasteland and a story, but before delving too deep into wordbuilding, I wanted to see if anybody was even interested.
