| Gwindalyn Duchess | Wants to start, but has to play the waiting game so that everyone she saved a spot for can make a character sheet… *continues to play the waiting game despite herself* This is going to be fun. |

| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | I wanna start!! |
| February 6, 2012 at 12:43 am #49517 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | Moose still has to PM me his charry sheet. |
| February 6, 2012 at 12:52 am #49528 | |
| Moose | I am almost done! I just need a few more minutes! |
| February 6, 2012 at 12:55 am #49530 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | It’s all good. Take your time. |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:07 am #49541 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | And… We can start? We can start! |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:09 am #49544 | |
| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | Can Dex be 18 instead? |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:11 am #49546 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | Okay. It has been edited. |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:13 am #49548 | |
| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | Dex yawned, throwing himself into an armchair in the library with his legs over one arm and his back slung across the other. “Ugh… I need some sleep.” |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:18 am #49550 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | Lizzy, who was at a table leafing through the pages of a book, glanced over at Dex. “Then why don’t you… get some? Sleeping isn’t illegial, you know.” She looked down at her watch, yawning. “It’s pretty late as it is.” |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:20 am #49553 | |
| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | Dex rolled his eyes and spoke in his deep, south Wales accent. “I don’t want to be that pansy who always goes to sleep first. It’s not good for my ego.” |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:21 am #49554 | |
| Moose | Hunter walked out from behind a bookshelf, a stack of books in his hand. “Sleep sounds nice,” Hunter commented dropping the stack of books at the table where Lizzy sat, making a loud thud. “Sorry,” he said sinking into a chair and picked up a book, scanning it’s cover. |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:22 am #49555 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | Eliza laughed. “I don’t know. I’m pretty sure anyone would say your ego could use a bit of bruising.” She looked over at Hunter. “And that’s fine. The company might actually help me focus.”
|
| February 6, 2012 at 1:25 am #49559 | |
| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | Dex scoffed. “Dreadful lies, deary.” He shifted the weight of his bulky shoulder so he sat up straight, elbows on his knees and chin on his palms. |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:25 am #49560 | |
| Sheridyn | Kalia looked up from her book and sighed, “Shoosh. I need quiet to read.” |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:28 am #49562 | |
| Moose | Hunter chuckled lightly opening the book. “With an ego like yours bruising doesn’t happen,” Hunter quietly said to Dex trying to keep the conversation down for Kalia’s benefit. |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:29 am #49563 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | “Mhm… Sorry, Kalia.” Lizzy said in an overdramtic whisper. She went back to her book, knitting her eyebrows in concentration, trying to focus on her studies. |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:29 am #49564 | |
| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | Dex chuckled. “I’m Welsh. I’m automatically proud.” |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:33 am #49565 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | Lizzy nodded, not looking up from her book. “Embrace that birthright like a man, Dex.” |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:35 am #49567 | |
| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | “I embrace ALL my birthrights like a man. Our flag has a dragon on it. I have a right to be proud of my heritage.” Dex replied. |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:46 am #49570 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | “Well… I may be that pansy that goes to sleep first.” Eliza got up to leave, book in tow, when Fred came bounding through the doors of the library, looking determined. “Or maybe not…” She turned to sit back down. Fred smiled. “Oh, good! You’re all here.” He sat himself down at the armchair opposite Dexter, rubbing his temples. “I need to inform you all of something. Well, not inform so much as vent. So listen up.” He raked his hands through his short hair, looking around at all of them. “I just got word that another Enclave member has been murdered. That makes it the third one this week.” He sat back, sighing. |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:49 am #49572 | |
| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | He leaped to his feet. “Holy fuck, I TOLD them not to send ANOTHER person after her! But they never listen to me, because I’m just another stupid kid!” Dex crossed his arms. “Well, let’s see if they want to listen now. I called this! I called ALL of it! Ever since the first murder.” He glowered, htrowing himself roughly back into the arm chair. |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:53 am #49573 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | “And I bet you would rather it you that be sent?” Fred asked, raising an eyebrow. “I’ll gladly give you the oppurtunity if you want to be murdered as well. Trust me. I think you’re capable. They don’t. And I’ve tried to put a good word in for you. Believe me, I have. But they remain stubborn, the bastards.” |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:54 am #49574 | |
| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | Dex shook his head. “We need a more efficient plan. Who was killed this time?” |
| February 6, 2012 at 1:55 am #49576 | |
| Moose | Hunter put his book down, looking over at Fred. “That sucks,” he said turning his chair to face Fred ignoring Dex’s outburst. “So who was it?”
|
| February 6, 2012 at 1:59 am #49581 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | “The last person they sent out was Cecilia Plath. They haven’t gone out to identify the body yet, but there’s no doubt in my mind that it was her. A passerby reported the murder was…” Fred raised his eyes, thinking. “30 miles from here, I believe.” Lizzy’s eyes widened. “She’s getting closer.” |
| February 6, 2012 at 2:01 am #49582 | |
| Sheridyn | Kalia put her book down, pulling her legs to her chest, “This is becoming extremely problematic…” |
| February 6, 2012 at 2:02 am #49583 | |
| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | Dex’s shoulders went rigid. “Cecilia….?” He shook his head, getting to his feet. “I… I need some water… .” He disappeared out the doors as fast as he could without running.
|
| February 6, 2012 at 2:05 am #49586 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | Fred stood up. “Dexter? Oh, drat…” He knew there was no use going after him, so he sat back down, nodding over at Kalia. “It is. They’ll no doubt be wanting to have a meeting about it here tommorow. If I’m lucky, I can try and convince them to let some of you join in. Get some sense into their brains…” |
| February 6, 2012 at 2:07 am #49587 | |
| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | Dex kicked open the door to the roof with such force it broke a hinge. “No!” He clenched his fists at his sides and walked to the edge. His hair whipped violently around his face. He clenched his teeth and eyes shut, shaking slightly. |
| February 6, 2012 at 2:09 am #49589 | |
| Moose | “I sure as hell want to join,” Hunter said giving Fred a determined look. “They need all the help they can get,” Hunter stated looking at the library door. Perhaps he should go talk to Dex, but thought against it. Dex needed some time alone. |
| February 6, 2012 at 2:12 am #49593 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | “Oh God… Should I…?” Lizzy muttered to herself, going hesitantly over to the library doors. Dexter had seemed extremely upset. And maybe it wasn’t her buisness to get into, but she really didn’t care. Fred gave her a questioning look, but she just shrugged and gave a nod. He would tell her any important details of this little meeting if she missed them. She ran up to the roof, eyes widening at the damage done to the door, and tentatively poked her head out. “Dex?” She called out. |
| February 6, 2012 at 2:13 am #49595 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | “I know.” Fred sighed. “And you’re all quite capable. It’s just a matter of convincing…” |
| February 6, 2012 at 2:15 am #49598 | |
| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | ‘What do you want?” He snapped, not looking back at her. He sat with his knees over the edge and his hair in his eyes. |
| February 6, 2012 at 2:17 am #49601 | |
| Moose | “Stubborn loons,” Hunter said breathlessly. “I am sure you can break through their stony attitudes.” Hunter looked down, fiddling with a loose thread on his shirt. “So how was she murdered?” |
| February 6, 2012 at 2:19 am #49602 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | “Nothing in particular.” Lizzy replied, sounding annoyed. “Assurance that you won’t jump, perhaps? Because you seem pretty damn close…” She took a few steps toward him, sighing. “You snapped back there. And I can be very nosey, as you rightly know. Therefore… I end up here.” She shrugged. “I figured you wouldn’t want anyone following you.” “It seemed to be nothing special. From what the passerby could tell, her throat was just slit. But there was that God awful scent of dark magic in the air.” Fred made a disgusted face when he talked about it.
|
| February 6, 2012 at 2:21 am #49603 | |
| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | Dex snorted. “Jump? Why would I jump and let up an opportunity at revenge?” He shook his head. “She promised me she wouldn’t do anything stupid…” |
| February 6, 2012 at 2:24 am #49606 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | “Who? Cecilia?” Lizzy asked. “She was part of the Enclave, Dex. Enclave does as Enclave is told. Promises or otherwise.” |
| February 6, 2012 at 2:28 am #49608 | |
| Moose | Hunter nodded taking in the information. “She is too good. Being able to take down Cecilia,” Hunter sighed leaning back in his chair. “Maybe we could talk to some Downworlders tomorrow about her whereabouts, with or without the Enclave’s consent.”
|
| February 6, 2012 at 2:28 am #49609 | |
| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | “She could have said no. She SHOULD have said no. She told me she’d stay alive. After I told her that anyone involved with Bianca is good as dead, she went anyway despite me telling her not to! I directly TOLD HER not to go!” Dex’s shoulders shook. “She didn’t listen to me! Because no one ever listens!” |
| February 6, 2012 at 2:32 am #49613 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | “She didn’t have to listen just because you told her not to go!” Eliza exclaimed, despite herself. She spoke more quietly, “People are willing to do anything to get to the bottom of this. You should know that.” “But how do we know who to trust anymore, really?” Fred sighed, rubbing his temples. “I hate to stoop so low, but it seems to be getting to that point. There are a few trusted Downworlders I can go to… I’ll try and see if one of them would be willing to help.” |
| February 6, 2012 at 2:35 am #49615 | |
| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | “YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND!” He spun to face her. There were tear tracks down his cheeks. “No one understands because no one listens! Maybe it WOULD be better to jump and save myself from a lifetime of Englishmen telling me what I can and can’t do! Ignoring my OBVIOUSLY CORRECT assumptions! AND NEVER GIVING ME ONE GODAMN MINUTE TO EXPLAIN ANYTHING!” |
| February 6, 2012 at 2:37 am #49616 | |
| Moose | Hunter nodded. “Right. Hopefully one of them knows about where she might be hiding. I would for anyone else to die,” Hunter said picking up his book and flipped open to the page he left off. “I hope you can convince them Fred. I don’t like doing things behind their back even if they are a bunch of blind bastards.” |
| February 6, 2012 at 2:41 am #49619 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | “You don’t mean that.” Lizzy walked up to him, pulling him from the edge of the building with force. “The heads are bastards. It’s always the same excuse. ‘You’re just teenagers. What do you know? Leave it to the Enclave. We know best’.” She seemed to be getting angrier as she spoke, her grip on Dex’s arm tightening. “And you’re right in your assumptions. But that isn’t going to stop them from putting you to the side along with the rest of us. You don’t think we’ve tried as well? Believe me. All of us have. And we’ve failed.” “Sometimes that’s the only way things can get done around here. If we present information to them, maybe they’ll come around…” Though Fred knew this was wishful thinking at best.
|
| February 6, 2012 at 2:45 am #49621 | |
| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | Dex rolled his eyes, despite the tears. “Tell that to Gideon Merrywether. The boys fifteen and gets a say in everything. You’d think they’d learn to trust us at least sometimes when they realize a lot of the time, we’re right.” His teeth were gritted. “I thought Cecilia had more sense…” |
| February 6, 2012 at 2:47 am #49623 | |
| Moose | “True.” Hunter flipped through the book growing uninterested in the text. The rushing thoughts and the weight of them distracted him from reading. Hunter stood and with the book in hand went in between the bookshelves. “You look tired Fred,” Hunter observed from where he was, putting his book away. |
| February 6, 2012 at 2:50 am #49624 | |
| Gwindalyn Duchess | “Well, sitting here crying about it isn’t going to help avenge her, now is it? All we can do is try, right?” Lizzy raised her eyebrows. “We can try and sway the Enclave from their bias as much as we want. But you know it’s going to be one hell of a battle.” Fred laughed. “I’m always tired, Hunter. It feels like days go by and I don’t get a wink of sleep… Not to say that I’m complaining. It’s part of the job. I’ve grown used to it.”
|
| February 6, 2012 at 2:55 am #49629 | |
| Captain Mollyanne Sunshine | “I’m bullheaded and arrogant, but not bullheaded and arrogant enough to go after Bianca, no matter WHAT is on my side.” Dex replied. |
| February 6, 2012 at 2:59 am #49631 | |
| Moose | “Well I give you permission to go to bed. I will make sure the others make it to their bed’s,” Hunter said giving Fred a smile. “You can fill everyone in on the details in the morning.” |
