“Note to self: Never talk about rollercoasters with Dex. Ever.” Lizzy shrugged. “And yes, of course that’s the point. Where is this conversation going, anyway?” She laughed, putting her face down into her pillow, and continuing to sing the song, a tad off key.

“If so, can our destination be an amusement park?” Lizzy looked up at him, laughing slightly. “What with all this talk of roller coasters and they’re metaphorical resonance, it makes you wonder about the real thing.”

“I was kidding.” Lizzy sighed. “I wish I weren’t. I could use a ride on a twisted metal ride full of metaphorical resonance. Which, yes, is definitly how I’m reffering to roller coasters from now on.” She smirked.

“We are so going to an amusement park. It must happen now. If you’re willing to spend the money on it, it’s happening. I declare it so. My wording is final. The end. And they all lived happily ever after.” Lizzy said the last sentence a tad sarcastically, but she still had a bright gleam in her eyes and a smile on her face.

“I want to ride the biggest and scariest roller coaster. The one with the loops and shit,” Hunter said leaning his chin into his hand with dreamy eyes. “And then I want to get an ice cream sundae. Covered with chocolate.”

Dex cracked up. “And then they glanced at each other and ask, “Dude, what the FUCK is going on?”

“I have nothing to add to this,” Hunter declared yawning. “Too tired to think.”

Hunter gave Dex a glance. “No. I will not be one to go to bed first, makes me a loser.”

“So, it’s between me and you then, is it Hunter?”Dex laughed. “Let’s save Lizzy the awkward and call truce.”

“Goodnight, Lizzy.” Dex smiled at her. “I look forward to our excursion to the land metaphorical resonance.”

“Goodnight, Lizzy.” Dex smiled at her and slipped outside.

Lizzy woke up, slowly putting herself into a sitting position. She had the blankets wrapped around her, yawning and stretching. She put her knees to her chest, burying her head in her knees, trying not to fall back to sleep.

Hunter rose rubbing his eyes. “Morning?” He asked himself noting the sunshine pouring through his window. “Well poop,” he rode from his bed unwillingly.

When Lizzy got downstairs, Dex was alrady sitting at the table, feet up on it, reading a newspaper, fully clothed. He waved at her, not taking his eyes off the paper.. “Morning.”

“Fires have cropped up around town. Nothing major, and no one was injured, but it has mundie police baffled. I suspect it’s Bianca’s little servants, running around and ‘spreading the horror.’” Dex sighed, and read. “‘The police suspect arson, but they are still unable to find the source of any of the fires. So until we find any more information, the police advise everyone to keep an eye out for suspicious activity and to make sure to turn off electrical fixtures that may cause sparks.’” He scoffed. “Suspect arson? There’s no doubt it’s NOT arson! There is no way in bloody hell that those fires are just coincidental.”

Dex sighed. “I wish they wouldn’t. There’s more of a chance of them getting hurt if they continue to pursue the arsonist. We don’t need any more deaths. If they would just deem them accidents, it would make me feel safer for them.”

“Good morning, Hunter.” Lizzy said quietly, giving him a small wave.

“That’s the precise thing, though. I don’t think anyone is really going to be safe. I’m sure Bianca and her cohorts are fully aware the mundies are involving themselves now, and I think that they’re going to keep making themselves more pronounced until the mundanes know what’s REALLY going on. Until everyone, absolutely everyone, is involved somehow.” Fred sighed. “May seem a bit overdramatic, but that’s the only way I can see this going if it can’t be stopped soon.”

“God damn spawns of Satan, they are.” Lizzy muttered angrily, taking her fork and stabbing at her breakfast. Fred just gave her a look and sighed, because honestly he was just as angry as she was.

Hunter went to the the refrigerator. “Like Bianca even has a heart to care about anything, especially about the mundies that could be involved.” Hunter peered into the fridge before closing it seeing nothing he wanted. “Perhaps we could go to her old hideout, perhaps there might be something that could help us,” Hunter said moving to sit in a chair, before adding, “Very doubtful though.”

“Sure as hell is the best we’ll be able to do, plan wise. For now, that is.” Lizzy muttered to herself.

Fred nodded. “I’d be fine with that. But keep in mind that Bianca has been very thurough about leaving nothing behind in her previous hideouts. We’ve checked. So don’t be disappointed if you aren’t to find anything of importance.”

Dex nodded. “That wouldn’t be a bad idea.”

“Alright,” Hunter said rising from where he sat. “Let`s get a move on. I do want to take a nap if there is time to afterwards.”

“Of course.” Fred nodded. Lizzy rubbed eyes, getting up and going to her room for her stele. She lay herself down on her bed, tracing various basic runes of protection, concealment, and strength onto herself. She put the stele down when done, rubbing her arms.

OOC: XD Proofreading is handy dandy.

Dex put on shoes and grabbed his stele before proceeding outside.

Hunter walked outside and stood by Dex waiting for Lizzy, pocketing his own stele.
