| Toby | “Who’s to say?” Alex said with a shrug. “Maybe they’re just pawns as well, or perhaps even just bishops. However, I’ve babbled enough. What’s your take on the whole thing, Miss Lola?” |
| January 7, 2012 at 5:13 am #19652 | |
| Noelle | “I don’t want to be taken by these assholes.” Lola said bluntly. “I think they have been around for a long, long time, and I think that after hundreds of years of hunting kids, there must be a really good reason for changing their ways.” Lola looked Alex in the eyes, “I also think that if we’re going to have any chance of surviving, we’re going to have to figure out as much as we can about them which means sharing all you know.” She held her gaze steady as she said commandingly, ” I need to know what happened to your brother.” |
| January 7, 2012 at 5:29 am #19707 | |
| Toby | Alex sighed and gave a resigned shrug. “If it’s your wish, my dear, then it shall be my command,” he said lightly, sounding mockingly akin to a fairytale prince. “One night, my brother suddenly ran out the door, for he saw Slenderman. I think he wanted catch it to prove to me that it actually existed. I chased after him, as we live out in the woods and I didn’t want him to get lost. However, next thing I knew, I was lying on the forest ground, with no memory of anything past running out the front door. In front of me was my brother camera phone. I looked and looked for my brother, but I couldn’t find him. The police were involved and he was declared missing. And on the phone, I saw a scratchy video of my brother running and catching glimpse of a black figure in the moonlight. Since then, I’ve been seeing the very same Slenderman that my brother had described,” he explained, in the same impassive tone as he had before.

| Noelle | “I’m sorry,” Lola whispered. She grabbed his hand and squeezed it quickly before letting it drop again. He didn’t sound like he cared, but he had avoided the topic before, so he couldn’t be completely old hearted. They walked in silence for a while, Lola letting the news sink in. “The same thing happened to Si you know. It’s like they’re playing with us.” She shook her head in disgust. “You know , my dog went missing last week. I think now I know what took him.”
|
| January 7, 2012 at 5:51 am #19777 | |
| Toby | Alex shrugged it off, choosing not to elaborate on it. “It seems as though they’re stripping us down, mentally,” he mused, silently noticing the sudden warmth of her hand and the just as sudden absence of said warmth. “They like to play with their prey, it seems, although on a whole new level than cats and mice.” |
| January 7, 2012 at 5:57 am #19795 | |
| Noelle | “This kind of stuff doesn’t usually get me down, but I’m starting to get a bit fidgety,” Lola declared as she caught herself checking over her shoulder again. ” My place is right across the street and I want tea, so as my buddy, you’re coming with me.” As Lola said this, she stepped right into the street and walked across non-chalantely as the traffic swerved around her. |
| January 7, 2012 at 6:00 am #19808 | |
| Toby | “Awh, taking me home already? How daring of you,” Alex said as he followed her without hesitation, apparently not caring about the oncoming traffic already. “I do like a nice cup of tea after all.” |
| January 7, 2012 at 6:06 am #19827 | |
| Noelle | “The only thing is, I have to take you. If I didn’t have to, you’d be long gone.” Lola’s smiled playfully. When they arrived at her house, she quickly hunted for her keys, and upon finding them, opened the lock to let them in. Once inside, Lola quickly tried to hide some of the clutter that she’d been supposed to clean that morning. “Sorry,” she muttered before giving up and leading the way to the small kitchen. “You can sit, I’ll make the tea.”

| Toby | “I somehow do not believe you,” Alex said smugly as they soon reached her house. He followed Lola inside, observing her house with a face of interest. When they arrived at the kitchen, Alex sat down and propped his legs up on the table, leaning back. “So, now what do we do? Just wait until the next meet up?” |
| January 8, 2012 at 2:14 am #21642 | |
| Noelle | “I guess,” Lola said dismissively as she poured the already boiling water into the tea pot. “Also, I think we should try not to get killed.” she added. Lola grabbed two large mugs and set about pouring the tea. “So Alex,” she paused to take a sip, looking at him like an interrogator would a criminal. “It seems we’re going to be spending a lot of time with each other, so how about you tell me your story.” She couldn’t keep her curiosity about him at bay. |
| January 8, 2012 at 2:30 am #21674 | |
| Toby | “My story? I thought I already told you that,” Alex said with a blink. He ignored his tea mug. “You know, with my brother missing, and me seeing him, and all that good stuff,” he continued, making hand gestures and waving his arms to help emphasize. |
| January 8, 2012 at 2:34 am #21684 | |
| Noelle | “I wasn’t talking about the sad stuff,” Lola said, exasperated. “There are other things to life than this Slenderman shit.” She stirred the tea idly as she stared out the window, waiting for a response. |
| January 8, 2012 at 3:34 am #21794 | |
| Toby | “Oh, you mean my life story,” Alex said as a frown appeared on his face. “Can’t we do something more fun?” |
| January 8, 2012 at 3:43 am #21812 | |
| Noelle | “Oh come on,” Lola scowled, hating not knowing things. “Fine, what would you rather do?” She glanced around her tiny house, looking for something to do. Her eyes caught the electric piano shoved into the corner of her living room. Lola pointed to it, “Do you play?” |
| January 8, 2012 at 3:46 am #21820 | |
| Toby | Alex thought about it, and with a shrug he said, “Naked twister?” He glanced at the piano and chuckled. “Nahh, I don’t like music, nor playing music. Although, my mom forced me to play sax for five years in school,” he said. “However, I can juggle. Give me three oranges and you’ll be entertained for the night.” |
| January 8, 2012 at 3:58 am #21841 | |
| Noelle | Lola laughed, her eyes sparkling. “No naked twister for you! As for the oranges,” She grabbed some from the fridge and tossed them to him lightly, one at a time. “I expect only greatness with that promise. As for music, how can you hate it? There’s so much variety, you can’t hate all of it.” she insisted. |
| January 8, 2012 at 4:05 am #21856 | |
| Toby | Alex had shift his legs off the table. As he caught the oranges, he began to juggle. “One day, there shall be naked twister,” he said with a grin. “And as for music, I dislike it. It’s unneeded noise. Ruins my concentration and just kind of irks me,” he told her, still juggling. “What about you? What’s your story? What are your talents?” |
| January 8, 2012 at 4:17 am #21880 | |
| Noelle | “My story?” Lola contemplated what she should say, “Well I love music to start,” Without taking her eyes of the oranges she continued, “I hate how I always have to work towards the future. School is so time consuming. I feel like if I just traveled the world I’d learn so much more.” Lola played with her hair as she leaned back into her seat. “I don’t have any special talents, other than getting my way most of the time. Although, you seem to be good at that too though, so I think you’re going to be a challenge.” She gave him a look of feigned mistrust. “I don’t really know what else to say other then the fact that I’m going to have to be very drunk before ever playing naked twister.” |
| January 8, 2012 at 4:35 am #21900 | |
| Toby | Alex, as he juggled, began to throw his oranges back at Lola. “Interesting story,” he said with a look of amusement. “And that can be arranged,” he added with a smirk. He glanced out the kitchen window and muttered,” I wonder what the others are up to…” |
| January 8, 2012 at 5:14 am #21961 | |
| Noelle | Lola cought two, but the thirds thudded as it hit the ground and rolled under the table. She scowled at Alex, then bent down to pick it up. “Me too, I didn’t manage to get any of their numbers.” She tapped her fingers on the table, “It’s been a quiet afternoon hasn’t it,” she noted, “I mean, Slendy’s only shown himself once. He must be holding out for the naked twister.” Lola was quiet for a moment and then added, “Do you think shooting them would work?” |
| January 8, 2012 at 5:22 am #21969 | |
| Toby | “We can’t let him down then,” Alex said cheerfully with a wink, although he glanced back out the window. “And maybe. Who knows until somebody tries,” he said, still looking out the window. |
| January 8, 2012 at 5:33 am #21979 | |
| Noelle | “Got a gun?” Lola smiled flirtatiously. She thought about all the zombie movies she’d seen and how the survivors had killed the walking dead. It couldn’t be too different, easier even. The Slendermen had never been people she cared for. It would be easy to finish them off, if they could die… She decided not to think about that. |
| January 8, 2012 at 5:46 am #21998 | |
| Toby | “No, I hate guns,” he replied flatly. “Although, I’m sure if you tried, you could find one.” |
| January 8, 2012 at 5:50 am #22004 | |
| Noelle | “Even if it means killing the slendermen? What if you were in a zombie apocalypse?” Lola persisted. It’s not that she loved them either, but desperate times called for desperate measures. “You’re very unpredictable.” she told him. |
| January 8, 2012 at 6:06 am #22019 | |
| Toby | “I’m sure I would work something out if in that situation,” he replied, looking at her in an amused look. “But there are no zombies, so we’ll save that topic for later.” He smirked when she called him unpredictable. “That’s good. Perhaps the Slenderman thinks the same way about me,” he said cheerfully. |
| January 8, 2012 at 6:13 am #22025 | |
| Noelle | “I’m not sure that’s a good thing. It might make him want you more.”Lola frowned, “I’m trying to figure out if you’d survive the zombies or not; you’re smart enough and,” she looked at his arms appreciatively, “you look strong enough, but if you wouldn’t shoot them,” Lola shook her head, pretending to be truly puzzled by this, “I don’t know, Alex Graham could become a zombie while I’m out there kicking ass.” OOC: I’m off to bed now, see ya! |

| Noelle | OOC: That’s scary shit |
| January 10, 2012 at 2:42 am #25612 | |
| Toby | Alex gave a hopeless shrug accompanied by a smile. “Who knows. Of course, we don’t need to worry about a zombie apocalypse…well, for the moment at least.” |
| January 10, 2012 at 2:52 am #25632 | |
| Noelle | “Hey, do you think we should check out that house that Sarah was talking about?” Lola suggested. There was nothing proactive to do in her house anyway, unless Toby felt like setting booby traps. Lola didn’t feel concerned enough to do that yet though. For all she knew, the Slendermen could just be following them to scare them. They were only supposed to hunt kids anyway. Though she knew that was a bit ridiculous, Lola couldn’t let her fear get the best of her. She didn’t want to turn into Harry. “She said there were some symbols on the walls.” |
| January 10, 2012 at 2:55 am #25638 | |
| Toby | “Alright, it won’t hurt to look,” Alex said, getting up from his chair. “You can lead the way, my dear,” he told her with a deep bow and a grin. |
| January 10, 2012 at 2:59 am #25643 | |
| Noelle | “I like a man who gives his woman the respect she deserves,” Lola said graciously and tossed her curls dramatically over her shoulder. Grabbing her keys, she led the way out of the house. “I don’t know exactly where it is, but I do know it’s in that forest.” Lola nodded at a dirt path that started into a forest just up the road. |
| January 10, 2012 at 3:00 am #25649 | |
| Toby | “Swell, walking through nature,” Alex commented dryly as he eyed the forest ahead. He didn’t really like forests. He felt very vulnerable when he was in one. |
| January 10, 2012 at 3:08 am #25656 | |
| Noelle | “Not the naturey type?” Lola asked, “Don’t worry, I won’t let the scary Slennderman get you in the forest.” She smiled as she walked faster towards the forest. Alex always seemed on top of things and she was eager to be the leader as she usually was. |
| January 10, 2012 at 3:51 am #25735 | |
| Toby | “My life in yours hands,” Alex said with a cheerful smile as he followed Lola. |
| January 12, 2012 at 2:10 am #28217 | |
| Noelle | “I’ll be sure to take care of it then.” Lola answered. She decided that they were far enough in to start looking in the brush. Lola stepped off the path and found that it became much darker very suddenly. “I don’t really know which way to go,” she admitted after they had walked for a couple of minutes. |
