Dante nodded his thanks as the Second seat of the Fourth healed him, not back to perfect health. But enough so that he could walk on his own. “I gotta go talk to the Central 46. I’m not sure what happens next…” He tried to flash step, but the attempt was feeble, he barely made it 10 yards before stumbling. He resorted to running, his wounds began to open up as he approached the Seireitei, if it had been any farther he wouldn’t have made it. He disregarded protocol and entered, shutting the doors behind him.

Aiden didn’t follow, but slammed his fist on a wall in frustration, crumbling it. He shook, he wasn’t sure if it was out of awe or fear or what. All of the captains? ALL of the captains.. dead. They were dead. Something isn’t right, they wouldn’t have not used their bankai at a time like that. What happened up there…

Aiden nodded, knowing what was coming but still just as shocked and frustrated.

“Other than the captains, there were five other casualties. The Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth seats of the Eleventh Division. They went down fighting the 109 and 107 Arrancars.” Dante sighed, “Get the second seats from Divisions 2 through 13. The seventh seat from the Eleventh. Congratulate them, offer your sympathies for the loss of their Captains. And tell them that they must be in attendance at the Captain’s meeting that will be held in one hours time at the First Division Headquarters. Also ask the Fourth Captain to seek me out there sooner, and further my recovery. Thank you.” Dante stood and slowly began walking towards the first Division Headquarters.

Aiden went to his side, and was silent for a few moments. “Dante.. How.. what is happening?” he shook his head, “I’m sorry, I’ll save my questions. Do you need any help getting to the head quarters or shall I just inform the rest of the group with Akira?”

Aiden had a solem look on his face but nodded and darted away to find Shouta. Staying on the roof tops with his guard on high alert, his ears twitched at every noise. He spotted Shouta on the battle ground where they’d left him. “Shouta! You are the new captain of second division. Dante has been placed in a new seat. You are to report to the captain’s meeting in one hour, be ready.” he darted off to find the other seats.

Dante took off his old haori and pulled his robs off his shoulder, starting to bandage his chest. When he finished, the hour was almost up. He changed out of his blood stained robes and then pulled on a clean haori, followed by his new 1st division haori. He slipped the faded Eleventh Division Armband further up on his arm. Holding one end with his teeth, he knotted it. He sat down at the head of a long table, leaning his Zanpaktu against the side of his chair. Close enough to have it, but far enough so as not to seem nervous. He brushed his bangs from his face, and waited for the newly appoint Captains to arrive.

Aiden walked in next, wearing the haori for 11th division. His bare feet soundless as he entered, he went over to where Dante was and sat next to him. His face shown no emotion, but if you knew him well enough, you could see the pain in his eyes. Aiden sat cross legged in his seat with Haisasorai sheathed across his lap.

OOC: Crap. I forgot Aiden and Aren are both squad eleven…

You can give him whatever squad isn’t taken. Or he could take control of the Kido Corps.

Dante returned Aren’s nod, and ran his hand through his hair, He hadn’t seen the captain of the Royal Guard. Or any of the Zero Division. That worried him, after seeing the Captain Commander dead, he began to wonder if the Royal Captain was alive. He sighed, so many worriers. New Captain, rebuilding defenses, defeating the Espada, convincing the Central 46 to accept Visored. The last one especially, if he couldn’t convince them, after this whole ordeal. A good majority of the Captains would be banished, maybe executed. At least the count of wounded soldiers were low. Other than the deaths, and a few minor cuts, he had been the only cut down. The others wounds were serious, but healed quick enough by division four. He was amazed at how quickly they acted. Dante made a mental note to thank their captain in private. He glanced around and almost everyone was present. He hadn’t seen Shouta or Akira, and the Royal Guard made no appearnce. But everyone else was here.

“I honestly have no idea when they will arrive, Aren,” Dante sat straighter up, “We are missing the Third Division and Royal Guard captains. Akira was out running a brief errand for me. And I think it would be rude not to wait for her arrival. I have no authority over the Royal Guard, that Captain will probably not be in attendance.” Dante grinned at Shouta, “Forgetting your rank already? That won’t do Shouta…”

“Central 46 gave me this haori, and I have to wear it regardless of their decision. I’m not a visored, so I have no issues with the 46.” Aren spouted, “Sorry to sound disrespectful. It’s not my intent, I’m just… What good am I as a captain?”

“We fought one Espada, the weakest Espada. And he managed to wound most of us. Then he escaped.” Dante pointed out, “I’ve seen the First Espada in action. They way it stands… We don’t stand a chance.” He stood, wincing slightly, “If we are going to keep the false illusion that as of right now we can win. We won’t, we need training. All of us. But first we need to deal with the short comings of our defenses. And face the fact that we are vulnerable…” He looked towards the Twelfth, “I’ll need to speak to you about a technological advancement I had in mind… But later of course.” Dante sat back down, “As of right now. We are activating emergency protocols. No one under the Third seat in each division are allowed to leave the Soul Society, Any one above that rank must be accompanied by at least four others. Order your squads to begin rebuilding the outer walls first. We will meet here again tomorrow at noon.” He nodded and the captains began to depart.

Aiden nodded and left, jumping to the roof and darting from building to building. He gathered up his squad and relayed the news to those who hadn’t heard. Some of them wanting to leave, and were spoken to privately. He gave them to orders set in the meeting and began to check around and make sure everyone was running as smoothly as they could.

Dante yawned, “See if you can miniaturize The Kido Cannon. If you can, start mass producing them, and supplying them to all unseated officers. Also try to make a slightly stronger version, that taps into the users Kido, and give those to all seated officers.” Dante glanced at him apologetically, “I know it’s a lot for me to be asking of you on your first day, and under normal circumstances I wouldn’t be… But we need something to give us an advantage…”

Dante smiled, “Three days.” He thanked the member of squad Twelve, and waved him away. He sat back down as the captain of squad for, finished healing him. He stood, finally back at his full strength, “Thank you.” he nodded at the captain and began to preform a technique that he had perfected while serving as the Third seat in the second division. A form of Garganta, that sealed off a specific person in a seperate diminsion. Where you were completely cut off from any of the known dimensions. No matter how long you’d stay in one, you would come out a few seconds later, any where you wanted. It consumed a lot of reistu to preform. But it was perfect for training. He stepped into it, and reappeared seconds later sitting in his chair in the captains meeting room.

Aiden was first to show, hopping down from the roof, he pushed the doors open and calmly took his seat. “Hello Dante,” he said as he sat down, “I see the fourth division helped you out. That’s good.”

Aren came in slowly, carrying a large burlap sack on his back. Nodding at the others, he took his normal spot up against the wall. R&D had been good to him- the people had more respect for him than he’d thought, and they were fast and efficient. All the kido cannons had been distributed, except the more powerful ones meant for seated officers.
