“Well of course.” Taylor smiled, but his eyes were worried. “I’m sorry, love, but you can’t sleep. Not until your headache goes away and your pupils even out.” He lightly brushed the hair from her face. “But we’ll take care of you. Let me know if your heacache gets worse.”

“I can handle it.” Taylor smiled, relaxing just the tiniest bit. He mumbled to himself “Damn hospital, not checking for head trauma. That’s the first thing they’re supposed to do with car crash victims.”

“Doesn’t mean I’m not worried anyway.” He sighed. “But we’re on our way back to camp, which is nice.”

The cab driver pulled up to the camp. “Xi’s chill, if you want to come back with me to the boy’s dorm, and I’ll get you some pills.”

“Just hand me my crutches when I get out.” Taylor slid out of the cab, after paying the driver with Teddy’s money.

He took them. “Thanks. So where do youu want to go?”

“Why would I not? You’re my friend.” He began swinging himself back to the boy’s cabin.

“Is your head okay?” He asked, opening the door for her.
Before she could answer, one of the other male counselors cut him off. “Where the hell have you been Taylor?! And what happened to your leg?”

“I, um, we got in a bit of an, um, crash…” Taylor stuttered, mumbling.

The counselor crossed his arms. “You had this entire camp worried sick, and it was because of a car crash? Fuck, Taylor, why didn’t you call?”

Taylor dropped his head, biting his lip. “Sorry… it won’t happen again.”

“The hell it won’t happen again. You won’t be leaving camp again until the end of summer.” The counselor replied, and pushed past them, jogging towards the head counselor’s building.

Taylor nodded. “That’s beside the point.” He led her upstairs and sat on the bed with his backpack. “i have some sort of medicine in here somewhere…”

Taylor sighed, pulling out a bottle of tylenol, a bottle of ibuprophen and a prescription bottle. “Was it Tylenol or ibuprophen that you’re not to take with concussions…?”

Taylor waved a hand at her. “I understand. Tylenol. You’re supposed to take tylenol when your concussed.” He tossed her the bottle.

“Not this stuff, no.” Taylor smiled, before taking an ibu.

OOC: And Duchess appears… and has no idea what to do… Crap.

Luna sat up and looked over at Thompson, “What? Oh, um nothing. Nothing at all.” She laughed nervously and the mentally slapped herself for sounding so suspicious.

Luna shook her head, “No it’s fine.” She smiled, “You don’t have to leave.”

Taylor waved a bit. “My leg hurts like a bitch.” He lay back across the bed. “But I’m strong. Hey Teddy. Thompson. Lorelai.”

“So…” Lorelai said, a tad somberly, “On a scale of 1 to 10, exactly how screwed are we. And be honest with me. I’m curious to know.”

Teddy suddenly got a really sad look, sliding down to the floor, putting his knees to his chest and his head in his hands. “Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.” He muttered into his hands. “Hopefully they decide something that isn’t too torturous. And hopefully they won’t tell our parents. Oh, who am I kidding? They probably will.”

Lorelai gave him a quick sympathetic look, mouthing to Taylor, “Trouble. Him. Not good.” And did the over dramatized slitting of the throat motion.

Taylor nodded. “Teddy, i’m taking all the blame. Don’t worry about it. I’ll talk to them about telling your parents.”

Ryc walked in, “Dude. Some counselor told me he was calling my parents because of us sneaking out… It was mad awkward when my cell rang as soon as he dialed…”

“Yeah.” Luna said to Lorelai, smiling. She looked at Ryc, “They caled my cousin. He had a minor panic attack.”

“Oh God, that probably means they’ve already called my parents.” Teddy said, going back to his slight panicky mode.

“And mine as well. Holy GOD am I going to be in trouble when I get home… But it’ll work out, Ted. It has to.” She said to him, trying to sound comforting.

“Well, my luck hasn’t been the best in quite some time. You know that, Rory.” He said to her.

Luna sat up and looked from Taylor to his crutches, sighing. She pulled a Sharpie and started doodling on her wrist.

“Told you it would work out!” Lorelai said, smirking at Teddy, who let out a sigh of relief. And just that moment, Lorelai’s cell phone buzzed. “And here we go…” She muttered. “Hi mom. Yes. Yes, I promise I’m fine. Well…. Not totally, but don’t freak out! Just… Okay, let me put this gently. There will be scarring. But it’s not that bad, it’s not infected, I’m not going to die. No! We weren’t drinking at all, ma. I PROMISE. Someone just decided to randomly run into my friend. I know… I don’t know mom! Please, just… Seriously? Mom, please! Okay, fine… We’ll talk about it when we get home. Okay. Love you too. Bye.” Lorelai hung up her phone, and gave the group a shrug. “Well, guess who’s not allowed to come back next year? My mom now considers you guys a ‘bad influence’. If only she knew… But don’t stress about it. I’ll have her mind changed the week I get home, trust.”
