| Wietske | Okay.. so Dutch people vote for this political party of which the leader in my province said that the Islam is no religion. I kind of hate that people can be so ignorant and vote for this party. |
| January 27, 2012 at 11:59 pm #43955 | |
| Tim | @wietske yeah…we have a party like that here too…The British National Party or BNP…They lost all their parliamentary seats at the last election leading to the joke: “What’s the difference between a bus and the BNP…A bus has seats!” |

| Wietske | @therearesomewhocallmetim that’s the problem with my school too everyone wants to go here and otherwise they want to go to my little sister’s school. Both schools only accept a certain amount of students every year, which suck if you don’t get in. When I went to my school we were already too big for our building, we had only about 580 students. Now we have 750 students and only got 3 new class rooms, which are 5 minutes walking away from my school, so we are way too big for our building. |

| Wietske | @therearesomewhocallmetim The problem here is that they are as we call it on “toleration party” at the moment. Which means they made some deals with the current government to get the majority when voting for stuff. The government needed this, because they didn’t have enough people. So this party has a lot of influence in the Netherlands at the moment.. They are called the Party of Freedom.

| Tim | @wietske The sheer number of lower school pupils clogging the corridors before and after lessons is insane…often I have maths lessons in humanities classrooms because our classes are smaller and they need the big rooms for the little’uns |
| January 28, 2012 at 12:05 am #43965 | |
| Wietske | @therearesomewhocallmetim Our classes aren’t smaller, but that’s only because we went from 5 classes in second year to 4 classes in third year in my school year. We used to have a classes need to be under 25 students rule, but we don’t have it any more. I think it sucks to have 30 students of 12 years old in front of you as a teacher.. |

| Tim | @wietske yeah, small kids are nigh-impossible to control…That is an ironic name for that sort of party |
| January 28, 2012 at 12:11 am #43972 | |
| Wietske | @therearesomewhocallmetim It is. I even prefer the Pirate Party (yes we had one last parliarmentary elecentions) |
| January 28, 2012 at 12:11 am #43973 | |
| lunik1 | @rachael I’ll have my revenge when I can post Spider-man image macros again |
| January 28, 2012 at 12:12 am #43974 | |
| Tim | @wietske I think that we have one too…Is yours the “make online piracy legal” or the “ARRRRGH MATEY” type? ours is the former |
| January 28, 2012 at 12:17 am #43976 | |
| Wietske | @therearesomewhocallmetim It’s about online piracy, but still it’s an awesome name.. The got 0,11% seats in the elections, so they didn’t do that bad.. |
| January 28, 2012 at 12:18 am #43977 | |
| Tim | @wietske not bad…I would kind of like to see a combination of the two…embracing double meanings |
| January 28, 2012 at 12:27 am #43980 | |
| lunik1 | @therearesomewhocallmetim for some of the pirate parties their symbol is the jolly roger…. |

| January 28, 2012 at 2:31 am #44068 | |
| lunik1 | @olive Why are turtles better than tortoises? |
| January 28, 2012 at 2:34 am #44071 | |
| Olivia | @lunik1 Because Turtles are hugable. |
| January 28, 2012 at 2:36 am #44074 | |
| lunik1 | @olive and tortoises aren’t? |
| January 28, 2012 at 2:45 am #44078 | |
| Olivia | @lunik1 nope! They’re too biggg to hug! |
| January 28, 2012 at 2:48 am #44080 | |
| lunik1 | @olive Giant ones maybe but there are smaller varieties |
| January 28, 2012 at 2:51 am #44083 | |
| Olivia | @lunik1 They are also very necky. I don’t like their necks. |
| January 28, 2012 at 2:53 am #44085 | |
| lunik1 | @olive an odd but technically valid complaint |

| Genevieve | Hello anyone…? |

| Genevieve | Okay, good to see there is some life out there!
|
| January 28, 2012 at 6:41 pm #44466 | |
| Wietske | I’m good. I went shopping with my dad for a chair today, but when we finally found one I wanted they said that I had to wait 4-6 weeks for it, so that kind of sucked You know what’s awesome? It’s going to be freezing this week and that means that we will be able to go iceskating next weekend |
| January 28, 2012 at 6:44 pm #44470 | |
| Tim | Hello everyone! |
| January 28, 2012 at 6:45 pm #44472 | |
| Wietske | @therearesomewhocallmetim Chairs are great, but I need one for my desk in the basement and my back doesn’t like most chairs |
| January 28, 2012 at 6:49 pm #44474 | |
| Tim | @wietske I used to have a wooden chair for my computer and my comfy armchair sat unused and generally covered with stuff…comfy armchair is comfy
|
| January 28, 2012 at 6:52 pm #44477 | |
| Wietske | @therearesomewhocallmetim I also have a couch in my room and I use that one to put stuff on |
| January 28, 2012 at 6:52 pm #44476 | |
| Genevieve | @wietske that sucks about the chair situation. When it freezes where you live do the lakes all freeze up??? Its nearly never cold enough for snow here! @therearesomewhocallmetim Hello!! |
| January 28, 2012 at 6:56 pm #44480 | |
| Wietske | @ghughes yes the lakes freeze up (is that what’s it called.. I didn’t know that) and the canals too and if we are very lucky we get to famous Eleven-city tour in Friesland (a province). The last time there was an eleven-city tour was in 1997 and I don’t remember it |
| January 28, 2012 at 6:59 pm #44483 | |
| Tim | @wietske Recently I’ve taken to removing my duvet from the bed and sitting on the chair under it watching Red Dwarf…good times |
