| Andi N. | Have you gotten your copy of TFIOS yet? If so/when you do, post descriptions/pictures of the signature page. Things like sharpie colour, Hanklerfish (if applicable), Yeti (if applicable), note (if applicable), and apparent status of sharpie ink I’m just really interested in this and really curious about everyone else’s copies. So, yeah. ^_^ THANK YOU JOHN FOR PUTTING UP WITH THE SIGNING PSYCHOSIS AND SIGNING EVERYONE’S BOOK! XD I got my copy a week ago. No Hanklerfish or Yeti, John’s signature is in black sharpie. ^_^ |

| Ariel | I was so excited when I got my copy over here in Japan…. but there was no signature! :’( I guess it wasn’t really a “no matter where you order from” deal…. oh well. I can still enjoy the book. ^^; |

| Allison | I just reserved a copy, so I really hope B&N will let me look through all their copies so I can find the coolest one there. xP Tuesday can’t come sooner! |

| Sarah | Got mine a day early, apparently (but still abstaining!). I got a red signature, nothing special (i.e., hanklerfishes) though. |

| Shalyn Holloway | I got mine today, but I’m not going to read it until midnight because then it will officially be the 10th. |
| January 10, 2012 at 3:11 am #25661 | |
| Sarah | @Deby All right, fair enough. I’d start at midnight, but I pulled an all-nighter last night and I don’t want to hurt myself too much more. I’m gonna read it throughout the day tomorrow. EDIT: Oh, whatever. I’m already a third of the way through. It’s amazing, by the way.

| Derek | No signature on my copy (from Amazon) But that wasn’t why I bought the book, so I’m still going to enjoy reading it. |

| David Morris | There’s no signature on mine either |

| Colleen | I just got mine! I got a red scribble: http://murdererofcalm.tumblr.com/post/15622695848/tfios-has-arrived I can’t wait to see everyone else’s! Does anyone remember the percentages when it comes to the Sharpie colors? |

| Paul | I got mine, I went to the first Waterstones and they had four green and one red, nothing else. Fearing the red one was the outcast (and not because I wanted to feel slightly special…) I took that one. I then went to the other Waterstones down the street and there was a selection of reds and greens (and one purple). None of them had hanklerfishes or yeti’s though in either store. Which was lucky otherwise I might of had 2 copies. After looking through I immediately decided that the staff had pinched the yetified copies and felt a pang of jealousy. Then I realised I have a signed edition of TFIOS in red – slightly running out but still could be used for a significant amount more copies – pen which was awesome and I shouldn’t be so greedy. It’s now awaiting to be read, after the Ian Rankin and Dawn French books I am in the middle of. (should have been more prepared!) |

| Nicole | Looks like amazon is the culprit here. Check out my post in General Discussions called Amazon Dropped The Ball to see what their customer serivce rep had to say about why my book hasn’t shipped yet, and what that likely means. |
| January 10, 2012 at 10:05 pm #26593 | |
| Katy | My brother got his pre-order in the mail today. (I’m getting my copy at the Austin stop) He’s got a blue J-Scribble, and it looks like it was a fairly new Sharpie when John signed that sheet. |
| January 10, 2012 at 11:03 pm #26655 | |
| Bethany | Mines brown…just a nice J Scribble…but it does look like the sharpie is beggining to run out |
| January 10, 2012 at 11:57 pm #26723 | |
| Allison | I picked mine up at Barnes & Noble to find it . . . J-scribble-less D: I was very confused. I already sent John a lengthy email as he requested on his twitter/tumblr. |
| January 11, 2012 at 3:20 am #27173 | |
| Anna R. | I got mine today at Barnes and Noble. Some of the ones there were’t signed but the ones that were were all hanklerfished! So I am now the proud owner of a Hanklerfish. |
| January 11, 2012 at 4:21 am #27279 | |
| Ashley | My signature is light blue. No yeti, no Hanklerfish. I remember it being mentioned in a video that there were only a few light blue signatures, but I can’t find the video where it was mentioned. Is this true or does my memory fail me? |
| January 11, 2012 at 4:30 am #27294 | |
| Kat | Mine is turquoise, with a red Hanklerfish. I wonder who got the copy with sig+fish+yeti? |
| January 11, 2012 at 6:19 am #27344 | |
| A | I got a purple J-scribble, and the sharpie was just starting to be on the wane. Curious to see how the one for the tour event that I got will be. Between these two copies, and the audiobook, I own a lot of copies of it! (Good thing I really ended up loving it!) |
| January 11, 2012 at 6:41 am #27353 | |
| Ashley Kay | Got a purple J scribble with a red Hanklerfish! Sharpie status seems to be fairly new |
| January 11, 2012 at 6:44 am #27354 | |
| Sarah Squidbagel | I have a plain black J-scribble. It’s nice, ’cause I always take the covers off my hardcover books. So my J-scribble matches everything. Still jealous of all y’all’s hanklerfishes, though. |

| Jules | I ordered two copies from a local bookstore in Raleigh in order to get tickets for the TdN event. Imagine my surprise today when I went to go pick them up and they weren’t signed! I asked the woman helping me about it and she seemed confused as to why I thought they would be signed at all… but unfortunately, half the staff at the store seemed confused by the Tour in general. I went over to the display and there were only 5 copies out, two of them signed. I actually wanted to trade my copies for the signed ones, but I decided that they should go to someone who’s not going to meet John and Hank and The Katherine. So while I know my books will not only be signed and Hanklerfished but *personalized* on Saturday, I still feel kind of bummed out that I don’t own a tiny bit of the results of signing psychosis. Selfish of me, I know… but to counteract it, I think I’m going to go out tomorrow and try to find a signed copy for one of my old students… she’s never read any of John’s books and I’m already planning on surprising her with a copy of LfA. |
| January 11, 2012 at 1:24 pm #27421 | |
| Emily | My copy just arrived! Signed, even though I ordered from Amazon UK. Dark blue sharpie with good health by the looks of it! |
| January 11, 2012 at 2:03 pm #27433 | |
| Emma George | I have a beautiful purple J-Scribble with what look likes two big lower case n’s. No Hanklerfish or Yeti D: D: D: !!! Can someone put on here the percentage of all the colours and Hanklerfishes and Yetis and such? And I think we should do pictures. What is the link for the Tumblr anyway??? |
| January 11, 2012 at 2:26 pm #27440 | |

| Jordan | I got a nice, loopy ‘j’, with a talented scribble, in a healthy fuschia color. No Hanklerfishes or Yetis ( either would have been nice) needed to make it awesome, though. |
| January 12, 2012 at 2:00 am #28206 | |
| Jeremy A Jackson | I was followed all the way home from school today by a UPS truck, and I knew that it HAD to stop at my house. I was not disappointed. I got a strong, healthy PURPLE J-scribble, on the lower half of the page. |
| January 12, 2012 at 3:25 am #28331 | |
| Kris | If anyone is interested, according to the video John posted on July 27th, 2011, here are the percentages: Black 1.74% My J-Squiggle is red |
| January 12, 2012 at 5:19 am #28461 | |
| Bridget | I got a lovely red J-scribble. it’s nice because red is my favorite color. the book arrived this morning, but my dad hid it until way later into the day. I really don’t know why he did that. |
| January 12, 2012 at 9:46 am #28551 | |
| Sarah | I also received an unsigned copy from Amazon DE. Already email John about it, so let’s see… |
| January 12, 2012 at 10:49 am #28559 | |
| metronome | I also got an unsigned copy, from Amazon UK. Stupid Amazon… I’ve emailed too, but there are more people than I expected with the problem! So it’ll take a while to fix I imagine |
| January 12, 2012 at 11:10 am #28563 | |
| Wessel | I won’t get mine until 14 feb which is even after my birthday… I should’ve just bought it in the store instead of preorder it… Now I will miss out on all the fun |
| January 12, 2012 at 11:43 am #28574 | |
| Han | My copy arrived today (I live in Scotland BTW) and it doesn’t have a signature in it. I’m sure I remember hearing that every pre ordered copy was going to get one. Is anyone else having this sort of problem? |
| January 12, 2012 at 12:57 pm #28592 | |
| Ali | I got a purple J-scribble, no Hanklerfish or Yeti. I’m really happy though because I wanted either purple or green |
