Snowy	There was a group in the old version of Your Pants devoted to learning Japanese (the Hiragana script, specifically). I think it was run by someone with the username Lucky…? Yeah, stupid pointless post to ask if anybody has seen them around or knows what is going on with it. :3

Maven	I don’t know where Lucky is, but I’d like to get it going again. (Maybe this time around it will be able to stay up long enough for us to actually learn!) What’s the plan with this? Do we wait until we find Lucky or try to find some other Japanese speaker to lead? (I’d personally take the reins but considering that my japanese is broken at best it would be like the blind leading the blind.) This reply was modified 128 days ago by Maven.

Snowy	If only Lucky were around… the first time it went down for a while it took a while for folks to get a hold of him. I loved the planned lessons that he did and how the group was run in general, but if we’re not able to find him… Maybe we can try to garner some more interest for the time being, and make a decision once more people are involved? I’m not able to run it, I’m just an eager learner.

Maven	There was a good bit of interest in the last one, but I don’t think that many of those people have switched over to the new YP. (I could be wrong.)

Sarah	Hmm… I’ve been learning Japanese for about 2 years, so I might be able to teach or something. I’d be willing to teach…

Snowy	I was able to get in. I clicked on Groups at the top of the site; there will be a Group Search tool (not the “search this site” one). I searched “Japanese”, and found the group. I shall watch the video and write an introduction post sometime either tonight or tomorrow evening. Thanks for getting this going again @luckystar5! This reply was modified 121 days ago by Snowy.
