So I’ve had this brain crack for the past few days, and throughout those days I’ve been thinking on how to actually do it. I have no car, a tiny bit of money, and a job that only has me working two days out of the week, none of which do much to help start a road trip. That’s partially why I’m here. Another reason I’m here is because as the title of my brain crack implies, other nerdfighters will be in it.

The point of this is to take a small group of nerdfighters ages 18-30 and simply take them away from where they’re at. They have to be in a place or situation that constitutes a need for a road trip. We aren’t just taking people who think it would be a good idea, except for maybe the person with the vehicle. This will be for those who need a change. That change should be thought about very seriously. The road trip will be fun, but it will also be challenging.

Also, if it turns out the way I hope it does, this road trip will be done mainly through donations from nerdfighters, so even if you don’t go it, you can still help make it a pleasant experience for those who are on it.

It’ll be open for donations because most of the people in this age range won’t be able afford this trip on their own. I know that we as Nerdfighters help lots of people and we decrease world suck. Well this is just the same, because there are tons of people in the US that need to just get away from their life for one reason or another. They may, like me, be really stressed out and need to get away. They could also be in an abusive relationship or an abusive family. It doesn’t matter what their reason is.

What matters is the need. If this goes well, it’ll be a yearly thing, although I don’t know if I’ll be a part of more than one. Maybe, if I’m able to, I’ll host it as the driver instead of a passenger. Either way, it’s more than just me on this. It’s about helping other nerdfighters, and is never a bad idea.
