Hmm… What was happening when we stopped last time?

I know… I do remember the date though, if that helps at all. It was like a day or two after Erik’s birthday, if I’m correct.

“And the wheels keep on turning and turning and turning…” Annabella muttered, giggling. She knew Erik would not want to be disturbed, but she couldn’t help but find him at his work a fascinating site.

“You needn’t apologize. You know that.” She sat gracefully down next to him, giving him a small smile and urging him to continue on. “Care to share some of it with me?”

OOC: I so pictured Bernadette as the song he’s playing… XD

Annabella smiled, reaching out and rubbing his back, trying to comfort him. “It’s amazing. And I know you know it is. Do you hear me?” She turned his face toward hers, making him look at her, and she pressed her forehead against his. “It’s amazing.”

“Vous êtes les bienvenus, monsieur. Je t’aime.” Annabella whispered back, smiling. She gave him a kiss on the forehead. “But you know I speak only the truth. I do love hearing what my mad genius has created.”

OOC: Because if he can speak French, so can she.

“But, of course, dear. You don’t even have to ask.” Annabella smiled, gesturing for him to continue on.

Annabella stared at him, amazed. “It’s beautiful. Absolutely. All of it, just… Wow.” She reached over to him, so that her fingers stayed over his slightly while he continued to play. “You are really… Really unlike any other, Erik.”

Annabella smirked, blushing. “You’re too kind.” She continued to play the song, with the help of Erik. “It really is a fasnicating instrument, the piano…” She mused. “You can make someone feel so many things at once, just with a few strokes of the keys…”

Annabella stroked absentmindedly at the keys, not playing much of a melody, but just a few nice notes. It didn’t sound too bad. “Indeed… We’ve often had string quartets to provide music for performances, see… I guess I’ve always just… admired them, if that makes sense. The instrument, and the player’s, ability to change your emotions…” She gave a little snap, smiling. “Just like that.”

Annabella got up, giving a little twirl as she took Erik’s hand, then steadying herself. She pondered the question for a moment. “I have nothing in mind, darling.” She twirled again, laughing as she did so.

“Well, every journey does begin with one single step, doesn’t it.” Annabella twirled once more, stopping abruptly and putting her hand on Erik’s waist, the other holding his. She began to lead him in a little routine. It wasn’t much, but it was still fun. A chance to be childish.

Annabella laughed, looking down and trying to lead him in the right movements and directions. She looked up at him. “I’m sorry. Am I torturing you?” She laughed lightly.

Erik chuckled, “Course not, dear.” He finally started getting the hang of the dance, grinning widely.

“I tend to pick up on things quickly.” Erik murmured, holding her close.

Erik kept one arm wrapped tightly around her, and ran the other through her hair. He kiss the top of her head, still swaying slightly.

Erik picked Annabella up and spun her around before setting her down again, kissing her softly, “Sometimes I find it hard to believe you’re real.” He murmured,”You’re just so perfect.”.

“You’re the most perfect thing I’ve ever seen.” Erik smiled, “I’ve traveled the world, seen the greatest art it has to offer.” He cupped her face in his hands, rubbing his thumb along his cheek, “But none of the beautiful things I’ve seen can compete with your beauty, your kindness.”.

“If this is a dream, than it’s the greatest dream I’ve ever had.” Erik smiled and kissed her forehead, “I love you so much, mon ange.”

“If this is fantasy then I never want to go back to reality.” Erik smiled, “I just can’t believe my luck sometimes…” He sighed happily.
