| Snowy | I’m not sure where to put this… it’s not a Nerdfighter exclusive kind of community project, but it is not one that I am starting or organizing either. Still, it is an internet project that is full of awesome, so… if this is in the wrong spot, please let me know. But anyway. There’s this thing called the Virtual Choir, I was wondering if there are any nerdfighters that are interested and/or participating in it? In a nutshell, a guy by the name of Eric Whitacre does these Virtual Choir projects as a way to get as many people as possible collaborate over the internet to bring to life some of his musical compositions. The sheet music/instructional videos are available on his website, so you can learn the piece and submit your part(s), there’s a large number of parts this time around (around 14 if memory serves, with all the ways the different parts split off), and there’s no limit to the number of parts you can submit (I think…). The deadline for it is January 31. Anybody interested? I need to find the time to practice during the month of January. I was too busy for version 2.0 and missed out on it, I’d hate to repeat it for this version. It would be so cool if there were other nerdfighters participating! |

| Molly | God, I love Eric Whitacre. We sang his song, “The Seal Lullaby” in my SSA, all-female choir, and we made it to States. He’s a genius. |

| Kyle Corcoran | I would love to do this kind of thing. I could possibly do drum set if were were going down that route, but I can also play a bit of piano and I am also a Baritone. |

| Tangerine | There are a lot of virtual choirs/orchestras out there. For example, for Sherlockians or Dr. Whosians, there are the “Sherlock Fan Orchestra” (currently auditionning) and “Dr Who Fan Orchestra”, both joinable via tumblr, unless I’m wrong. |
