| Asad | Hiho everyone that has wandered in here. This is a zombie apocalypse RP. Now I know what you’re thinking; Asad, there are already 3 different zombie RPs, why create another one? The answer is simple, this isn’t just any ordinary zombie RP (well, neither are the other ones. Every RP is extraordinary, but this one holds some emotional value.) This is the official continuation of the very first zombie RP ever to grace YourPants. At our height, we had over 3000 posts until the evil doers got us. There are some things to note: Character sheet Back story: Please refer to Blake’s post down below. #22022 |

| Will | OOC: Asad, read up where exactly? |
| January 8, 2012 at 5:17 am #21966 | |
| Asad | ((Well Will, I’m not going to lie, my memory isn’t all that good. I know the basic skeleton of the story, but a few major details have escaped my mind. I’ll be updating the original post with the skeleton, and will rely on the other originals to fill out the details.)) |

| Asad | ((Thanks Blake. Edit: Well, it’s late. I’m turning in for the night, but will update this first thing in the morning. G’Night.))

| Blake Haughton | The story so far… At first, they didn’t know the extent of anything going on, and originally tried to make a safe house in the city. The plan didn’t work, as they were confronted by a mysterious man named Drake who had somehow gained the capability to control Zs. Drake told everyone to leave the city within 3 days, or else the city would explode, killing them all. Sawyer left Cara and Glade with the others, and went off on his own, looking for something he felt was missing. Cara and the other survivors moved south, towards a location called the “farm” and went by way of subway tunnels. Sawyer was forced into another confrontation with Drake, and killed him, liberating all of his supplies, and taking them to the other survivors, who were having their own troubles fighting off new types of Zs in the tunnels. After giving them these items, minus a vial of antivirus (later known to be flawed) Sawyer once again left the others, who now headed north after learning the farm was a trap. Sawyer caught up with a new survivor, named Sky, who was alone in a mansion. Left without much supply, Sawyer “liberated” a motorcycle, which the two used to escape on, being bit and using the antivirus in the process. Meeting back up with the survivors, they finally made a run out of the city, and Sawyer began to change due to the effects of the incomplete antivirus. He confided in Cara, and lead the survivors towards a cabin where they could stay. The three day limit passed, and the city did not explode. Sawyer, angered by the bluff, finds out his father, Dr. Nathaniel (RIGHT NAME! TY GLADE!) Sawyer, is involved and is at the farm via radio transmission. Glade separated from the group, due to falling out with Sawyer and Cara, and also headed towards the farm, becoming infected along the way. Meeting at the farm was a disaster- all the remaining survivors became infected, and were also forced to use the incomplete antivirus on themselves. Nathaniel, now with Glade on his side, fought back the survivors, managing to go so far as kill Sawyer (A latent viral infection revived him). Nathaniel is seemingly killed at this time, and Cara is infected with some of Nathaniel’s blood. The group (now minus Glade who acted on his own and is/was technically a Z) headed towards a coastal city, supposedly a safe haven. It was not in fact, a military run city and the military were part of the organization that dropped the bombs. Cara and the other survivors (save for Sawyer who was held in captivity and tortured all the while) overthrew the regime and set the city free. The city’s security expert, Flynn, escaped however, vowing revenge. Flynn caught up to Glade, who’d begun putting together some specialist Zs to wipe out his ex-friends, and told him where to go, trying to use Glade as a weapon against the other survivors. Sawyer and Cara struggled with their relationship, and finally smoothed it out, just before they uncovered Christian’s true plan for the city they were in- Zs are respondent to certain transmissions, and the city would broadcast a signal which would call all the Zs towards it, while simultaneously making them completely feral. It is also during this time, the survivors learn that Sawyer has a half brother with great powers underneath the city. The man, named Grainger, will not stop the plan, telling the survivors that it is inevitable, also hinting at Nathaniel being alive. Grainger uses Flynn as his operative, who actually ends up saving the survivors in the coming battle. Sky is kept in Grainger’s mobile base, which was underneath the city, at the request of the other survivors. The survivors found no way to stop it, and prepared nonetheless. Glade threw a wrench in their plans, infiltrating the city before the signal and destroying their defenses. This ended in a massive battle between two sides, and ended with the city just barely surviving the attack, and Glade being defeated, but left alive. Only hours have passed since the end of the battle…

| Blake Haughton | ((Might as well get my character sheet up)) It was later revealed to him that many of the events of his life were manipulated by Nathaniel (his father) in order for Sawyer to reach certain outcomes, which he still did not due to his rebellious nature. Has a long-standing relationship with Cara, which was started during the trek out of the city. She legitimately is the one of the few people Sawyer trusts. He was infected early on in the story and took a failed antivirus which caused his body to mutate. He tends to want to be in charge, but lately something in him seems to have changed, just hours after the battle ended.

| Will | ((This looks so awesome. I wasn’t in the old one, but would it be ok with you guys if I joined this one?)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:27 am #22092 | |
| Alex | ((Pretty sure Blake covered everything. Although, what about Grainger? Not sure if he’s still important. I’ll go ahead and post my character sheet. I also apologize in advance for the wall of text.)) Name: Cara Fletcher |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:29 am #22098 | |
| Alex | ((Will, I don’t see why it would be a problem. I think that’s why we’re being so detailed with the back story of our group, as well as each character. But, that’s just my opinion. We were always welcoming new characters on the last board.)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 2:30 pm #22332 | |
| Susie | ((Are we back, are we back for good? lets hope so I suppose. I shouldn’t really join in, I have to revise for my A2s… Ah I’m full of excuses. Would It be acceptable for me to be a “part-time” poster? Or maybe that’s just a little too difficult to carry one with that :/ )) |
| January 8, 2012 at 4:30 pm #22452 | |
| Asad | @susieliveshere Yes, we are back! Of course you can join. I don’t see how that would be a problem. There is one condition you must accept; don’t let this thread distract you in your studies :p @willcharles Yes, we are open to new-comers. I remember you showing some interest before the crash. Character sheet After the bombs went off, his timid nature was replaced with a sarcastic, smartass one. He feared for his niece, always thinking about her, but never talking about her. Days passed as the thought of her gnawed at the back of Glade’s mind. Soon, he found himself departing the group to journey on to his Sister’s house. Glade was shocked to find his Sister’s body lying next to a folded, bloody blanket. They were both dead. From this point on, Glade swore on his life he would kill the person responsible. After receiving an unusual radio broadcasting informing him to the farm, Glade was infected by a spotter. He still maintained his consciousness, but gained new abilities. One was to control the Z’s. On the farm, Nathanial (Sawyers father) warped his mind to hate humans. The battle on the farm unfolded. Nathanial was killed. Glade was barely left alive. Feeling betrayed by Nathanial, Glade had another goal; kill Nathanial. As the group headed to the port, and relative safety, Glade.ventured back into the city looking for new, stronger companions. He found Ana’s (another RPer who has not yet created an account) brother, Sky’s father, and Cara’s mother, re-animating them with Nathanial’s blood. They were a force to be reckoned with. With some typical zombie behaviour, Glade’s hatred for humans grew. He learned that his former group had taken safety in the walled city near the port. With the help of his human puppet, Glade infiltrated the city. He opened the gates to hundreds of hungry Z’s. During the fight, one by one, Glade’s companions fell, until only Glade was left alive. He was no match for the combined power of his former group, and fell injured. |

| Will | Name: Nathan Jones ((err, can someone explain to me the different types of zombies and stuff? Not totally clear on that)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 5:17 pm #22508 | |
| Blake Haughton | ((Gladly. There are several types: Runners- Same as above, but with the abilities of running and climbing. Also have limited “hunter” instincts and usually travel in packs. Lurkers- Zs who have active camouflage, usually lying in wait to strike and devour their opponent. Spitters- Less concerned with food (capable of devour other Zs for survival) these are the smartest of all the Z types. They fire projectile infected vomit from a distance and turn people. These type know how to avoid close combat well, and some (before the signal) retained the ability to mimic speech as a way to lure victims. Trolls- Massive powerful Zs with thick skin and regenerative powers, the only real way to kill them is to burn them apart. Taking their head off might also work, but is incredibly risky. (Think El Gigante from Resident Evil 4 then you’ll have a good picture) This about covers everything, but a new type has recently surfaced and now takes up the majority: |

| Susie | ((@Asad neeeeever Darren – Sky’s cousin, commander under Flynn, but one of the good guys. Sawyer-cre Sky-con -con =Controlled by. EDIT:I think I have some characters missed, So If you think of them say)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 5:55 pm #22579 | |
| Blake Haughton | ((SUSIE THAT’S AWESOME! There are characters here I didn’t even remember!!!)) EDIT ((Tobias was I think created by Zela/Cara, and controlled by both of us depending on who’s there)) EDIT 2 ((Grainger! How do we keep forgetting him?)
|
| January 8, 2012 at 6:27 pm #22670 | |
| Susie | Le gasp* I’ll add him |
| January 8, 2012 at 6:36 pm #22695 | |
| Alex | ((I don’t even remember Tobias or Cain… Anyone remember?)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 6:50 pm #22724 | |
| Blake Haughton | ((Tobias is who we put in charge of civilian defense, and IDR what cain was used for…)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 6:51 pm #22726 | |
| Asad | ((I don’t remember there being a Cain…)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 6:58 pm #22742 | |
| Alex | ((Maybe I just used him once and gave him a name? I’ll just use him if we need a random civilian. If he’s the one I’m thinking of, he’s a doctor of sorts? I may be confusing characters and RPs…)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 6:59 pm #22744 | |
| Susie | ((I can’t remember either, he’s only a civilian though, so probably not that important. Can you remember anything about the people who kidnapped Cara and Sky? Although she might not be important, I think she was killed…. but this is a Z apocolypse, deceased doesn’t mean that much.))
|
| January 8, 2012 at 7:03 pm #22755 | |
| Alex | ((They were kidnapped? When? My memory is apparently not what I thought it was.)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:04 pm #22757 | |
| Blake Haughton | ((I’m pretty sure that was Lucy, and she’s dead now so that’s not an issue anymore.)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:04 pm #22760 | |
| Asad | ((Aye. Sometime before the battle in the port.)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:06 pm #22766 | |
| Susie | ((urm. By a woman. When they were in the walled city placed… And kept in cells. Cara was kidnapped after she chased Flynn, and Luke threw her into the back of his truck or something. Sky was taken straight from Darren’s quarters. And Sawyer fought her, but she could predict his next moves everytime he made one… and she called cara “love”)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:07 pm #22769 | |
| Alex | ((Ah. I remember Cara took down Momma Fletcher, though. If it was Lucy and she’s dead, it makes sense then. I think.)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:09 pm #22778 | |
| Blake Haughton | ((I’m pretty sure it was Lucy considering she worked under Flynn and was supposed to cause a split between Cara and Sawyer, then kill Sawyer. Lucy was also crazy, and jealous of Cara.)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:11 pm #22785 | |
| Alex | ((That makes sense. I honestly don’t even remember them being kidnapped, so your guess is better than mine. I’ll just agree to whatever is decided.)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:13 pm #22789 | |
| Susie | (( Something tells me it wasn’t lucy… like her name was beth maybe??? Sawer killed lucy, right? but he had a big fight with this woman? She was like Grainger, we heard her name but not her. but then again, her and Lucy being the same girl works)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:14 pm #22791 | |
| Susie | (( Shall I update Lucy’s status from Civilian???)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:16 pm #22797 | |
| Blake Haughton | ((For story purposes and since we seem to be so foggy on this character, let’s assume it’s Lucy. Susie, are you putting your character back up soon?)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:16 pm #22799 | |
| Will | ((every time one of you posts something, the story gets more complex. It’s hilarious)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:17 pm #22802 | |
| Asad | ((No, no. I vaguely remember Lucy working for Grainger. She had some lovers quarrel with Cara. I’m sure she’s dead though.)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:17 pm #22807 | |
| Alex | ((@susie I just read your post a few up, and I remember it now! It was a character of mine. I believe her name was Kade. She could predict the movements of people, because she was a mutant/experiment. Sawyer came in and killed her after a long battle. She was only doing as instructed.)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:19 pm #22813 | |
| Blake Haughton | ((Yep, there we go… Knew it wasn’t Lucy! @Will Yeah… we tend to do that XD |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:20 pm #22815 | |
| Susie | ((@Alex yaaaay remembering. @Blake, yes soon. |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:22 pm #22824 | |
| Asad | ((Well, where do we start. We were in the tunnels at the end of the previous story. Maybe we should start off a bit before that, but after the whole hospital scene.)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:22 pm #22827 | |
| Alex | ((Huzzah! I can’t think of anything else, but that’s just me. We know my memory for details… @Will this is only the beginning of complexities. You ready?
|
| January 8, 2012 at 7:25 pm #22836 | |
| Blake Haughton | ((@Asad Agree completely. After the hospital bit, but before leaving?)) EDIT ((@Alex we were using them to travel back to the farm. We needed to head that way to shut down the signal.))
|
| January 8, 2012 at 7:25 pm #22839 | |
| Asad | (( @willcharles To be honest, you don’t need to know all the details. Let’s assume you’re a civilian in the city after the battle.
|
| January 8, 2012 at 7:27 pm #22843 | |
| Will | ((okey dokes)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:27 pm #22846 | |
| Susie | ((Haha the last thing i remember was, everyone was out in the rain. uncluding Grainger and Darren… Ana was injured, Glade was injured. Sawyer, Cara and Ana were deciding whether or not to kill glade for his crimes.)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:28 pm #22851 | |
| Alex | ((Ah. Gotcha guys. Vague remembrance forming. All good here now. |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:30 pm #22856 | |
| Blake Haughton | ((We Timeskipped at that point to the hospital. There we decided to let Glade live, but Sawyer still doesn’t trust him/ doesn’t want him close-by. Let’s just pick up right after that.)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:41 pm #22884 | |
| Susie | Name: Sky Becker After the bombs went off Sky lived alone in her old house, to be found by Sawyer, and joined the group. She was shy, and thought everyone would hate her for being the daughter of the man who created the virus. But they weren’t. Her father had left her one final thing ((I cannot for the life of me remember how)) a letter expressing his love, and also a warning as to the spitting Zombies, and the unfinished antidote to the virus. She has a cousin Darren, who looked after her in his barracks. Then after being kidnapped she stayed with Grainger, and while he said and did some unusual things, it became clear he was a good guy. |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:46 pm #22893 | |
| Alex | ((I believe Dr. Becker was a troll-like Z, maybe just severely mutated, I can’t remember exactly, that showed up at the campgrounds thing around the same time as Liam. He was taken down by the other survivors, the note was clutched in his mutated hand. and the vial was in a case in his pocket. This sent them to the labs at the farm where he was working because they knew there would be more of the antidote.)) |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:51 pm #22904 | |
| Susie | ((ohh yeah |
| January 8, 2012 at 7:51 pm #22906 | |
| Blake Haughton | ((WHOO! ;-; No Rafle though… Should we get started?
|
| January 8, 2012 at 7:53 pm #22910 | |
| Asad | ((Nathanial isn’t officially dead. He’s still alive, somewhere. And as for Glade… we’ll have to wait and see.)) |
